The instructions state you should adhere and wait 24 hours before actually putting cords through them. Do NOT ignore this. The ones I rushed on aren’t sticking and those I waited to use are doing well.

I've placed 3 of these on clean vertical surfaces after wiping with alcohol - wood furniture - and still two of them fell off after a few hours of holding a usb cable. One remained in place next to one that fell off. Otherwise, there is not much else that can go wrong. Manufacturer needs to improve the product with better adhesive materials.

These cable clips are such an easy and inexpensive solution to your charger cable falling on the floor off your nightstand or desk, or to keep cords away off the counter and out of the way.I have one of these mounted on the back of my desk, and my co-worker put one on the side of his desk to keep his cord off the floor too. At home I have also put them on the underneath of the upper kitchen cabinets to keep the cords from lying on the counter and being in the way or getting wet.They stick best to a smooth surface and will not adhere well to rough surfaces like brick or raw wood. For the best adhesion, make sure to clean and dry the surface first.Please know...they are not like Command strips, they may not remove 'clean' and could leave a residue, so be sure not to place them on a surface that could be damaged.

There’s is absolutely nothing wrong with these. I’ve had no issues with it not sticking and it’s good quality. My problem was I needed something for the side of my night stand so I didn’t have to constantly fish around for the phone charging cord. Regardless of where I put it, the Apple cord slides right through. Best for larger cords or probably would be ok on a flat surface.

I specifically purchased these based on the photo but did not see the one where they are shown to be over an inch wide. This is my mistake but it doesn’t need to be yours! Unfortunately too large for their intended purchase but I guess I’ll find somewhere to put them.

These are great to keep my cords accessible at my workstation. I have to plug and unplug constantly. This makes it easy to find my cord again!! It is a little cumbersome to get the cord in the slot though. But this ensures it stays in place and doesn’t slide out. I haven’t tried to remove them - don’t know if it will leave that gross residue or not.

I recently set up a wall organizer to hold all of my Kindles and other devices that need charging on a regular basis. I thought these cable clips would work well attached in a line above the wall organizer, so that I didn’t have to fight with untangling charge cords all the time. I attached them on the wall above the organizer and they work very well! No more tangled up charger cords! Highly Recommended!

I bought this 8 pack and after 3 days only 2 are still sticking. Im not even using thick cables. I have followed the directions perfectly, using a wooden (butcher block) table, cleaned the surface before use, held the clips down for 15 seconds and wait 48 (not 24) hours before putting the cable in it. The first one fell off after about 3 hours. The issue isnt the adhesive on the table but the adhesive on the clip itself to the pad they provide. They only have like a dot of glue on it? I get it, these are cheap but lets be real, how expensive really is it to take a molded piece of plastic and stick it to a piece of fabric. At the end of the day, you need to spend more money on the manufacturing of this item and glue the rubber to the actual fabric pad.
