Sturdy - long term reliability
Four years going since we got rid of the bed bugs (parting gift form the apartments we left). No tears on any of the three beds we covered.Update 2016: six years in use without an issue. We flip the mattress every 3 months and have yet to notice any wear on these.

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
I've been sleeping on this bedding for years. It's cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It keeps the bed smelling fresh and I don't even think about insects getting into my mattress. I don't have an expensive mattress, but I just don't want to replace it before I can afford to. I launder the cover twice a year and it comes out like brand new. Great product and it was worth every dime.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I have one on every mattress in my house. No matter how clean your house is, bed bugs come with many mattresses, nearly impossible to get rid of, but this keeps anything in the mattress when you bought IN the mattress ;-)

High quality - nice feel - does the job
I have been diagnosed with dust mite allergies and advised to cover my mattress and box-spring. I am very satisfied with this item. I was concerned it would be like something from a hospital rather than a hotel. I am relieved that it is very much like the latter: satin, high quality, upscale.The installation instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow. The zipper goes all the way round which makes things easier - it certainly glides very smoothly. For all those like me who prefer to buy things made in the USA you will be as disappointed as I was to know that the tag says MADE IN CHINA.Two negative comments: the warranty reads like a legal agreement - not sure they ever want (or are obligated) to honor their 10 year commitment. Also their literature says that only 70% of bed bugs live in the mattress - you could buy this product and still have other things to do to remedy your situation

Allergy Mattress Bags
This product has a very sturdy build, and a soft texture. I can't comment on its allergen barrier capabilities, as we don't suffer from significant allergies. It was easy to put on, and I love the terry cloth finish. I bought it as an "opened item" (most likely a return), and it was in perfect condition. Really happy with this purchase!

it doesn't feel hot to sleep on like cheap plastic mattress covers
It is only slightly waterproof. Wetness seeps through if there is much moisture and/or pressure on the wet spot. However, it doesn't feel hot to sleep on like cheap plastic mattress covers.

Rating for bedding encasement
Pretty Good! Has a soft fabric on the face of encasement so doesn't change the feel of the bed itself. Less Bed bugs after using.

Nowadays with the problems with Bedbugs its a good idea to have this on your old and new mattresses. Worth every penny
