Youtube had me scared that it was hard to do this. All I wanted was a way to pass sound from my phone to my headset, meanwhile 20 minute tutorials led me to believe it would be an issue. It wasn't. This wire worked perfectly with negligible audio delay, transmitting sound from my phone to my ear and then sending sound back from my mic.

I already had headphones, the cable connection was perfect to use for zoom meetings

I have a stereo headset with microphone that works just fine on my laptop. Using this adapter and a Plantronics one-ear mono headset, the microphone is not recognized by my laptop, forcing the laptop's internal microphone to be used. Curiously, it works perfectly on my cell phone but I bought it for conference calls on my laptop. A USB adapter works but this does not.

The callers don't hear me with the adapter in.

I have a Plantronics HW261N headset and I bought this thinking I would be able to use it on my laptop, which has a 3.5mm combo jack, for online meetings and calls. No matter what I try, my headset microphone is not recognized by Windows 10 so it works only as a headphone and I have to use the built-in microphone on my laptop instead. I already spent hours researching and trying to tweak the audio config on my laptop to make it work but to no avail. I know the headset is not broken as I can use it with my phone without problem.

totalmente compatible con mi diadema Plantronics, yo solo tenía el conector para teléfono de escritorio, y con este cable puedo hacer mis llamadas con celular y computadora sin ningún problema

Bought this thinking it would have fit with a headphone I had and it didn't work or even fit like it said it would. I returned it and got my money back.
