I bought this set after watching a video on YouTube were this was reviewed. I only give this 4 stars because some fo the kit truly is junk and is of no use, the foam divider was pitched right away. As long as you go int o this purchase knowing that not everything in the kit will be useful, then you will not be disappointed. I can say the chest harness has been great and to be fair the entire kit is less than the GoPro branded chest harness. I have taken the chest harness on severs motorcycle rides and captured some amazing footage. So again if you go into this purchase knowing that it is not all good quality but you will gain some mounts that will help you get running with your GoPro then you will not be disappointed.

If I could give ZERO stars I definitely would!! TRASH - brittle plastic and WEAK METAL!I was so excited for this set arrive so I could film some of the local political rallies using my GoPro Hero 5 camera from our motorcycle. Yesterday, the very FIRST DAY using the Octopod Tripod, the weak metal screw SHEARED off completely causing the camera, including a brand new battery and a 256G Samsung Evo SD card, to go FLYING out onto the freeway with about 5000 cars behind all simultaneously crushing my camera!!!! Sadness :( if I could recoup the cost of my camera from this vendor I darn sure would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

Great kit for starting with the GoPro. A lot of mounting options to tickle your creativity. It just may be the only mounting kit you'll need. Quality components. Almost gave it 5 stars but a couple of minor things I've noticed right out of the box:1) Some of the articulating points require a wrench rather than having a thumb screw. The wrench is provided but it's one more thing to keep track of where a thumb screw would be convenient.2) The wrist strap for the remote control doesn't work like it should. The Velcro isn't setup right so you have to twist the strap to make them connect which would be annoying if I was actually going to use it.3) the wrist strap lanyards for the the selfie stick and float stick should be elastic. I can barely fit my hand through the selfie stick lanyard.4) The thumbscrew on the suction mount right under the camera mount does not have teeth and I really have to crank it down to immobilize that articulation. I'll be using it like a dash cam in my car and it should be fine for that (and lower profile than many).5) The head strap has a non-slip surface on one side of the head band but the other side is covered by the overlap of the fabric to fit the adjustment buckle. There should be non-slip on both sides of that piece.6) The wrist strap is a bit narrow and not as seen in the product description but is depicted correctly in the product pictures.Some of the things that stand out for my use are:1) The body harness is comfortable (although a little stingy on the elastic, not sure it'll go over winter cloths)2) The suction mount is relatively low profile because there are only two articulating points which makes it cleaner for a dash cam mount. Suction is good.3) The selfie stick is long and has a standard tripod mount screw making it more usable for other cameras4) The tripod adapters are nice so you can utilize standard camera gear.5) The spring on the alligator clip is quite strong and gripping teeth are reassuringOverall, I'd recommend this kit.
