Exact fit oil filter for my Onan generator.

I received the OEM ONAN filter not the fleet guard. Was worried after reading reviews. Exactly right filter for my 5500 generator

Just a tad bit shorter than the Onan brand. Fits fine. Had to get a different filter tool to remove/install it as almost nothing hangs down on the generator to get a grip on it. The tool is a 65mm X 14 oil filter wrench cup. Works like a charm. Used the filter for a few oil changes and appears to work just fine.

I was having a hard time finding this filter in stock anywhere. A little pricey, but at least it’s the right manufacturer’s part and delivery was quick.

Second time ordering. First time (last year) got the Fleet Guard filter. This time got the Onan branded one. Same filter. Both worked as expected.
