Worked great for Laminate Over Laminate
After sanding with 80-grit disks, I was able to use this Amazon Cement (DAP 00272 Original Contact Cement Qt Raw Building Material, 1, Tan, 128 Fl Oz) to completely re-surface my Daughter's kitchen counter tops..One section (3 X 8) was rectangular. One Section was (3 X 12) L-Shaped with a sink cutout..Zero Router Issues. Zero Router Problems. Worked great on Standard Thickness Formica Laminate. Took 2 days. Great Purchase. Saved $1000s..1. I used an Amazon oil (Lucas Extreme Duty Refill 4oz Gun Oil 10877 & 1oz Needle Oiler 10875 ) on the bearing to keep from burning finished edges..2. I used an Amazon Router bit (Freud 1/2" (Dia.) Bearing Flush Trim Bit with 1/4" Shank (42-104) ).

It's a Makita. Very well made and has a nice feel. A lot easier to balance on narrow work than a full sized router.

Works great.
Sometimes I put off jobs that require a router because I hate all the set-up. Adjusting jigs and switching bases, and tweaking this or that is some guys idea of a good time, but not mine. So I got this little router with a bearing bit for pattern routing, and there's next to no fussing around. If you already have a full sized router, I recommend you get one of these. It's a lot handier to grab for little jobs than you might think.

Easy to use
Easy to use, just the trick for a router job (counter top trimming) that otherwise would be impossible. Couldn't get ALL the way to the wall, but close enough that careful sawing with a sharp, precision Japanese saw finished the cut.
