SKS Beavertail Universal Mountain Bicycle Fender Set - Pair - 26-28 Inch - 10100

I have an Trek FX 2 Disc XL with 700x40c tires, and they were easy to install. I needed my own screws but I had plenty of those. What I like most about these fenders is that they easily come off and go on the bracket you install on the bike. I only put them on when it's raining, but you can keep them on all the time if you like. I didn't notice any rubbing sounds when they were on and they are not bad looking fenders. This fenders is a great design for ride hybrid type bikes.

Bike fenders are invaluable for biking in wet conditions and these are the best I’ve tried - pretty affordable, too. My only quibble is that they’re a bit difficult to apply correctly and they have a tendency to shift position, which sometimes causes them to rub up against the tires. Otherwise they fit great. This is probably an issue with any bike fenders, though. I’d recommend trying them out.

I mounted these on a bike with 700c tires and there was plenty of clearance. Luckily my bike has pre-drilled mounting holes on the rear frame and the front fork where you would typically find the anchor point for traditional rim brakes (mine has disc brakes). If you have rim brakes, the mounting brackets for these fenders should fit between the brakes and the frame or fork. The plastic is sturdy and flexible, so I'm confident that they won't snap if I drop the bike or happen to hit something. Overall I like the look, fit and finish, so great job SKS on making a great set of fenders available to us at a reasonable price!

They look pretty good and are easy to install, but there really flimsy and bounce around and vibrant abit. These should sell gir a lot less money.

really like this for my wife's cruising bike. the guards have a thickness that works - but rubs the rear tires sometimes because the clearance is tight (large tires on her bike).we bought a 2nd set because i lost one of he guards while road tripping - i didn't screw in the guard to the metal plate, so the guard slipped off on the highway somewhere :(

These fit on my ebike but the rear fender plastic had to be heated and reshaped after it arrived in the box warped. Even after reshaping the rear, both the front and rear are slightly lopsided. It took a bit of difficult adjustments to get it so that the wheels don't rub. We'll see how they hold up over time. I haven't ridden in water yet but it looks like these will deflect the water as intended.

Does the job, perfectly.

Leichte Schutzbleche, die einfach anzubringen und suberzuhalten sind. Einzig der Fahrradrahmen verdreckt im Bereich des Tretlagers stärker. Unterstützt ein modernes Design des Fahrrads.

Sehr einfach aufzubauen, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt

Montiert wurden die Bleche an einem 27,5 Zoll Mountainbike, und Himmel, war das ein enttäuschender Akt. :(In die Plastikbleche musste ist erst mal Löcher bohren, und mit einer flachen & kurzen Schraube samt Kontermutter das Schutzblech auf dem Winkelblech fixieren, denn das ist schon beim kritisch Anschauen wieder runtergerutscht. Also das darf nicht sein!Für die Hinterachse ging die Montage dann, der Abstand war in Ordnung, aber hat instabil gewackelt, obwohl es amtlich festgeschraubt war, und schlackerte auf den Hinterreifen. Kein gutes Gefühl. Meine Reifenbreite sind 2,25 Zoll, und puh, die Lauffläche wurden wirklich um ein µ knapp NICHT bedeckt. Also dass in der Beschreibung (auch auf der Homepage von SKS) angeführt ist, dass dieses Blech für bis zu 2,35 Zoll breite Reifen passend wäre, ist Unfug, denn das ist es nicht. Bis 2 Zoll könnte man wohl noch von einer Abdeckung sprechen, aber alles Breitere ist homöopathisch mit einer Abdeckung bedacht, mehr nicht.So, und dann zur Vorderachse, gleiches Spiel, auch das Blech im Winkelblech erst mal mit Schraube und Kontermutter fixiert, das flutschte sonst ebenfalls gleich runter. Und mit dem Dremel musste ich dann erst mal die Ausparung erweitern, mit der das Winkelblech an der Gabel montiert wird, da das Schutzblech VIEL zu nah am Vorderrad war und konstant rubbelte. Also diese Aussparung wie gesagt verlängert, um dann mehr Platz zwischen Reifen und Schutzblech zu gewinnen. Und das war DEFINITIV notwendig und war bei dieser Komponente auch von Material her absolut möglich und machbar. Also grundsätzlich ne komplette Fehlauslegung. Und ja, "nett", es sind V2A Schrauben und sichernde Muttern dabei, aber die Schrauben sind zwei mal "riesig lang", und die Gabel bei meinem Mountainbike hat ein Sackloch-Gewinde mit 15mm Tiefe, und dafür waren die Schrauben absolut zu lang. Also auch erstmal nen Baumarkt gesucht, bei dem ich passende V2A Schrauben in dieser kurzen Länge finde, denn eine normale verzinkte Schraube und die klassische Edelstahl Gabel, das gibt fix ne scheußliche Kontaktkorrision zwischen edlem und unedlem Metall, und darauf hatten weder mein Rad noch ich Lust.So, genug ge-Dremelt, alles fix und fest und drangeschaut und "Bastelspaß" und sonst was, aber es war dran, und dann auf's Rad und ne Runde gefahren. Und gleich danach abmontiert und weggeschmissen! Es klappert, es ist instabil, es ist zu schmal dimensioniert, und es schubbert immer wieder am Reifen.Für bis zu 28 Zoll soll es ja passen, und die Reifenbreite 2,3 Zoll soll ja auch bedeckt sein, und beiden Aussagen werden einfach nicht eingehalten. Also der zweite Stern ist, hmm, kulant vergeben, aber ehrlich, es ist preiswert, und damit hört es dann leider wirklich auch auf.
