Great value, easy install and looks great!!!
Purchased this as a replacement for a really old kitchen faucet that had begun leaking. This is a high quality faucet, not cheap plastic. Operation is smooth with no leaking. The installation is very simple and provides a nut with three screws to tighten. Much better than needing a basin wrench.

Simple Quality
The faucet came nicely packaged and damage free. The bonus was that it came early. I looked around for this item at home improvement centers and elsewhere and found the best buy here at Amazon. The finish is very nice and Moen quality is well known. The installation was simple and straightforward with complete instructions included. The connectors are built in and ready to go. For my installation I needed to purchase additional adapters to connect to 1/2" pipe threads. The cost for these is minimal and if you are a do- it- yourself person like me the man at your local hardware store will fix you up. If you have shut off valves under your sink this installation should be a simple screw on directly on to the valve. This has been installed for about 30 days now and works smoothly, and is leak free!

All-metal construction assembled in the USA
I was looking for a quality basic no frills faucet that would stand up to use in a rental and one I could easily get a new cartridge for when it comes time to repair it. The Moen cartridge is held in place with a C shaped ring and is fairly easy to replace. The depot stores only had versions with mostly plastic on the spout and base plate. Plastic cracks and the chrome plating chips off. Been there done that. This faucet is quality! Sad thing is it was very difficult to determine the aforementioned factors from the mfg's website and the Amazon description. A bonus is the faucet comes with long integral braided supply lines saving an additional $15.00 or so dollars and eliminates a potential source of a leak. Faucet is held to the sink with one large washer and nut that threads to an anodized aluminum collar. I was installing a new sink so attached faucet before mounting sink. Mounting faucet to an existing sink would be much more difficult to reach up and behind the sink bowl which is why I wanted a faucet I could repair rather than throw away. Hint: Put plumber's grease on threads first in case you must remove faucet in the future. Also a good idea to remove the red/blue plastic cover on the handle and grease the set screw so you can remove it easily when it comes time to replace the cartridge. Remove the aerator and lube the threads, leave it off until you purge the water lines of particles loosened in the install process.

The 'Moen' brand supersedes all the rest.
Moen Chateau chrome Kitchen Faucet is the most beautiful & the most functional of any faucet thus far after we just had (2 Delta disasters). The plumber instructed us to make this purchase on line & remarked about the ease of installation. I highly recommend this brand as we also replaced the bathroom faucet with 'Moen.'

Faucet
I was too lazy to buy the same from Home Depot. Basic faucet, works as it should and was delivered to the house. Does it get any better? I dare say that it doesn’t. If you’re expecting a fancy faucet with blinking lights, auto on and auto off, a stretchy sprayer function or any other craziness, this ain’t it. It’s a no nonsense faucet that screams that it is a plain old faucet. The work horse for washing hands, filling cups and glasses, washing things in the sink and many other monotonous activities that homeowners bring to it.
