this is the best gate I've found
Don't even bother with the cheaper gates. I have returned Evenflo, North States, My Pet gates due to poor quality and difficult to use latches. This one works!

Love this!
I got two of these gates for bringing a new cat into the home. I stacked one on top of the other. I love that it's easily adjustable, so it fits perfectly in my doorway. Two months later, I still use it multiple times a day (my cats are having a hard time adjusting to each other lol), and they've held up great! My only gripe is how loud it can be when you're lifting the latch, but it's not bothersome enough for me to knock down my rating.
