I'm a new beekeeper and panic set-in when I found some small beetles on the inner cover of my hive. I immediately ordered this product as I wanted to contain any future outbreaks. The bottle is very tiny but it goes a long way -- I'll have this in my shed for a long time. The instructions included on the bottle had a lot of different applications but towards the end it mentions what to do for small hive beetles. I mixed as suggested and drenched the area around the hive late at night. I also removed the pollen patties within the hive (I read that beetles love the pollen patties) and doing that has done the trick. I no longer have any beetles in the hive.
