castration tool Review: Works for newborn puppy tail docking. - Got this to try to dock my mini Aussie pups at 3 days old, easy to use, went on nicely, stayed in place, tails fell off as expected within a week. Just be careful if you are stretching the bands more than a golf ball size around, they like to slip off and go flying if you're not holding them down. Review: Saved my dogs life - My st Bernard had a huge skin tag (maybe tumor) hanging from his neck. After hyping myself up I was able to put the band on in a few seconds and he was all better in a matter of 2 days! It was so easy to use and it worked so well. It saved me thousands of dollars in vet bills.

Saved my dogs life

If your aim is to shoot bands in the air, this does the trick
I bought this in March after I had three boy goats born. Then I just waited for them to be old enough. This banding tool does not have notches on it to hold the band in place as you expand it. Therefore, no matter how fast or slow you do it the band just rolls off and shoots off like a rocket! Not what I needed. I had to buy a new tool at the local feed store. More expense! It worked great. It had groves on the prongs to hold the band in place while you expand it. Just goes to show, you get what you pay for!

Excellent finger placement ridges in bodhran tippers!
While sparing the little piglets undo stress, these rubber castration bands are PERFECT for placing on individual bodhran tippers…. Without the included plier/expander, squeezing the little wiggly devils was an exercise in frustration! With the tool, the band can be stretched accordingly and placed in to the exact position of the player’s finger placement! A true life saver! Banding pliers
I haven’t banded lambs in decades. These worked perfect for casterating my ram lambs. Band stayed on pliers perfectly! Would recommend but they are not a high quality metal but I will at most be doing 10 lambs a year so its a win win for me!

Corgi tail banding
Do not use for banding corgi puppies. Their tails are to small and these bands will eventually slip off after two or three days. The correct bands to use are orthodontic bands like for braces. Other then that this is a great product.
