Q: Why is this set 94 dollars when it's only 531 pieces?

Hi, this set was released by LEGO in 2011 and has since retired. It becomes a collectible item and the market bares the price. It's quite a special set! It contains a particularly special minifigures, one being Two-Face (with orange and purple suit). He's exclusive to that set! I just looked on Amazon and the cheapest seller is selling him for $29.99. He's a very rare LEGO minifigure. Hope this helps you understand the value of this set.

Q: what batteries are required ?

Hello! no batteries are required for this toy. There are nearly no LEGO sets that require batteries - only advanced "power function" or "Technic" models. Thank you!
