321 STRONG Hand Therapy Grip Balls for Stress, Fidget Toys, Arthritis Relief for Kids and Adults

These balls are well made and are sure to last a long time. They are of three different levels of resistance: yellow is firmest, blue is softest, lavender is "in-between". They come in a small black bag with a drawstring for carrying/storing. The balls are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. They are solid thermoplastic rubber and do not contain any beads or sand. They do have a slight texture on them; I assuming this is to help with grip, but it's not anything that will distract you - you can't feel it when gripping them.I am confused by the reviewer in the customer question/answer section who said "it has a foam type material. But when you squeeze them air comes out. They come back to shape when released." This does not describe these balls at all. No air is released and they do not lose shape when squeezed, they simply have some give when squeezed - the amount depending on the level of resistance. It would be close to impossible to actually squeeze these out of a ball shape.I bought these as stress balls rather than for physical therapy, but will probably learn the exercises in the videos anyway since my keyboard makes my wrists hurt! My son has autism and after re-reading the product description I think I will offer him one to see if he likes it.The owner of the company, Jeff Hollenbeck, contacted me personally as soon as they shipped to give me the tracking number, eBook, and assurance that he would take care of any problems I might encounter with the order or the product. I am appreciative of this kind of business practice and customer service, and would certainly buy from this seller again.

I bought these as a late Christmas present for my 6-year old niece based on her Amazon wishlist that her mother helps her put together. I admit I initially thought it was an odd gift for a little girl to ask for, but her mother, who is a nurse, explained she wanted because they help enhance sensory stimulation. I spoke to my niece afterwards, and she told me she actually wanted them (along with "thinking putty") because she liked the way they look and feel. I know these are primarily meant for strengthening hands, so that's a bonus for her! I don't know much about sensory enhancing items, but I thought these were good quality, varying strengths of resistance, and liked the bright colors. I'll be happy to edit this review once I hear how my niece liked them. I just wanted to make sure I wrote a review as soon as possible since the seller Jeff from 321 Strong has been so kind as to follow up with me a few times via email to send me the e-book guide (if you bought these as a gift, you will want to forward his emails to that person). He also wanted to make sure my order was up to standards, to provide his personal contact info if any issues, and offer future discounts. I appreciate that kind of customer service, which is a bit rare these days!

I'm very HaPpY with my Grip Balls! I shopped around for awhile before I made a purchase. I was surprised to see so many excersise-ball companies to choose from! What ultimately swayed me to purchase these 'specific' balls from this 'specific' company were the; Reviews. So many satisfied customers! Each review was so positive, and how this little ball was working for them. So I bought 3-sets; for me, my daughter & my friend who has had carpel-tunnel surgery on both hands. I really like them! The size is perfect, the firmness on some & the softness of the others add a variety of exercise options. I squeeze the soft one while watching TV which is good for me, especially my right hand. You see, I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. My right hand seems to want to close, all by itself. If I'm not paying attention, it closes so tightly, i have nail marks in the palm of my hand! It's called 'Spasticity', it occurs in my legs, feet & hands. ANYway, these exercise balls are relieving the tightening feeling I experience from the spasticity. Much happier! Oh! The texture is great too! It has a tacky or sticky surface so they're not so slippery, and the exercise balls come in a handy nylon/plastic draw-string bag. Using these once a day has rid my wrist of some bad wrist pain. I can also tell that my hands are getting stronger. What I really like about them aside from their cool, translucent colors is the unique feel of them. They have a gel-like feel to them that's comfortable, forgiving and great for exercising...much better than some of the goofy stress balls you typically find on people's desks at work. These balls are much better for repeated exercises. I could tell you what other people at work think about my balls but I'm not sure this review would get published. Highly recommended product!UPDATE: After only several weeks of use, my hands are getting stronger and my fingers are feeling better - less stress and even less pain. These are one of the best products I've ordered from Amazon!UPDATE 2: I'm not there yet but I would highly recommend these balls to anyone 60 and up to incorporate into their daily exercise routine. I bought a set for my Mom who's 88 and she loves them!

These are nice stress/strengthening balls. They have a nice feel to them, and I personally prefer these over the pliable ones that are too squishy. I keep them on my desk and often find myself giving them a squeeze. However, there are some issues. The colors were not as vibrant as those in the picture. The blue was darker, and the purple was darker, and the yellow had a strange green tint. The quality is okay, though they are very slightly misshapen. Overall, not bad.
