It’s well price, and I feel comfortable locking my weapons in it while driving.

The same as the other negative reviews I've now read. After the combo is changed, the rotating locking arm won't seat completely and you can't spin the lock wheels. It's an easy enough fix, but when I saw all the other reviews referencing the same thing I just decided to send it back. When something is made badly you don't support that continued effort. I'll buy something else, regardless of price. Pride in quality or manufacturing and accountability are the two most important things as a seller.

Everything I required for securing my weapon was met. I appreciated that I could set my own combination.

Right out of the box everything looked great. Instructions were clear and was able to set up my own combo in a few minutes. Great!... Except that when in the locked position, it was still fairly easy to turn the knob to unlock it. I was also having trouble scrambling the combo in the locked position. After doing some sleuthing, I noticed that the piece of metal it latches on to was too far over, so it wasn't allowing it to completely latch. Well after taking a drill to it and widening it up a bit, everything works smoothly now. Looks like it'll do it's job now. Will update once I get my gun how well it fits everything UPDATE.... Fits my m&p shield 9mm single stack nicely. Holds one mag comfortably, can squeeze in two if you really want. Just careful that nothing hits the inside lever to change the code, as this happened to me once. Luckily I didn't accidentally change the code! All in all, very decent for the price you get, debating getting a second one to keep in the car. Would recommend!

The locking mechanism is not machined properly to allow enough room to close the knob when resetting the lock. As others have noted who have had the same problem the slit which the hook on the knob closes in needs to be slightly longer and was not machined properly in production. The customer should not have to be drilling on their end to fix this and as such I do not recommend buying. UPDATE: So I filed for a return yesterday and opened my door today surprised to find another package containing a replacement safe. I thought this was really kind of awesome of the company and figured I'd give it another go. Well more disappointment followed as this model has the exact same issue as the previous model since the latch can't close all the way once you change the lock combination which prevents you from moving the dial keys. So I upgraded the review to two stars but since the replacement product shipped to me is also defective I can't give it a higher score. Will be shipping back both items.

This is a nice quality gun box. It was also a good deal, and it shipped and arrived quickly.

First off, the obvious: this is a tumbler style lock, meaning anyone who has watched a YouTube video can open it in about 17 seconds. That being said, this is a case that is meant to keep children out if you store your gun in a bedside table. It will do that well, but as a long term source of storage, you should seek a better, larger and harder to move option.
