My nutritionist recommended that I get a glucose monitor to test my blood sugar two hours after a meal. I have been in and out of the prediabetic stage for years along with weight changes. I got a starterAccuChek set. The number of lancets doesn’t match the number number of the test strips that I brought separately. I ended up with 15 strips left over as a result. My blood sugars were at the normal level, but I am compelled to continue testing. I needed more lancets, but not at drug store price/quantity. This pack contains more than enough as I will not be testing daily. They fit perfectly in my lancet pin!

The 33 gauge on this lancet works great on the "sweet spots" of my cat's ears. I use the Abbott Freestyle lancet device on the first setting. Occasionally it seems the needle is a bit shorter and I have to increase the setting to 1 1/2 but otherwise 1 typically works perfectly. My cat will barely flinch now being a fairly new diabetic and I doubt it was ever due to the prick but rather the sound of the lancet device upon engaging it. Be sure to carefully twist the top off to expose the needle, though. It's super easy to bend or break off.

Much cheaper than CVS

I bought the larger gauge needles because I got tired of milking my fingers to get a drop of blood. Yeah, it hurts a little more, but it gets the job done.

I test my blood with a Keto Mojo. Initially started with 27 gauge needles to a depth of '2' on the provided lancet. Didn't know any better. I bought some 30 gauge needles which were a bit more comfortable and found out I could go down to a '1' setting on the lancet and still get a large enough sample. Then I discovered these 33 gauge needles. Using a 1 depth I can still get a large enough sample and the comfort is even better. They get the job done. I may try a different brand when I need a refill. These seem compatible with many lancets, but not all needles are. Give them a try. They are so thin they are a nice step up in comfort.

cheaper for me since I am on a budget

Man am I glad that I found these, they’re literally the same thing as name brand and have been using them for weeks and absolutely no issues. Thank you for selling these at an affordable price in a time where being diabetic is getting more and more expensive.
