Tetra ReptoClean Water Treatment for Reptile Aquaterrarium

I read in an online forum of this product being used as a concentrated alternative to sludge-eating bacteria for fish aquariums. Yes, fish, not just turtles. Didn't harm my fish. Didn't cause oxygen issues. It worked within a day or two, which is extremely fast. Cleared my cloudy water, reduced most of the fish poop, and you only need to add it once a month. Unfortunately, this hasn't eaten all my filter and gravel sludge, yet. But at least the water column looks crystal clear!

This stuff works great it cleared up the tank that looked like milk and got rid of the slimy feeling that was inside of the turtle tank. This does the best I will use it once a month from now on.

This is my 3rd purchase. I use this in a tank for my red-eared slider. He gets an aquatic salt bath once a month and all I need to do is add tap water and a cap for of this and it gets rid of chorine. She is thriving. She was very small when I rescued her. She is now 4 years old.

I don’t know if i had too high expectations or what. It does very little. I had to wash the tank every week. But it does look like it does SOMEthing

Tetra Repto Clean at every water change to keep my 2 turtles tanks from fouling due to their toilet habits. You may be able to go a bit longer between water changes and when you vacuum out the tank, their waste solids have been digested and pretty much neutralized to a soft mass, it'll generally siphon out with no clogs. Like, using & recommend!
