Great read, very informative.
The information is presented in very understandable terms. Good examples of how this approached helped people improve their game.

Hier zwei Zitate um ein besseres Verständnis zu bekommen:- "Prepare for your shot as best as you can. Have as vivid an image as you can and settle yourself as much as you can. Then commit to it with body, mind and heart, Like the pig in a bacon and breakfast."- "Take your best shot and be ready to deal with the results. Pre-acceptance means taking the attitude that you can handle whatever results you encounter. This reduces fear of unwanted outcomes, meaning less interference with making a good swing. And that means a higher percentage of good results. If you accept the possibility of having to scramble, you’ll find yourself scrambling a whole lot less."Schönes Spiel!

This book has changed my way of playing golf, in a positive way
This book made me realize the importance of the mental aspect of golf. I am reading it for the second time, right after finishing a first read. I am a lot more relaxed on the golf course now, and more positive. As a result, my swing is better, more regular, more relaxed. A MUST read.

Best of it's kind
I'm an avid reader of sports psychology books - especially for golf. I'm convinced they have been instrumental in my rapidly reduced handicap (26 to 18 in the season), and I didn't think there was better than Bob Rotella. However, Zen Golf exceeded all expectations. I'm no 'mystic', and although Buddhism is interesting, I wouldn't be buying books on it. This could change my mind - literally! I actually feel different on the course after applying some of the simple (and not 'new age') exercises. It's the first such book that I've immediately started again once finished - it's that good. My copy is full of post-it note markers for the many things to which I will want to keep refering. Do yourself a favour. Don't tell anyone, but just try it out. You won't be disappointed. It's well written by a golf coach, but with some fascinating insights into the realities of a golfers thoughts (and how to control them). Understanding the emotions and mental activity associated with our great game is the first step; I find that's almost enough - the mind then dumbs down the bad stuff and accentuates the good. Could it be magic? No, it's good sense. Read it!
