Question 1

I got this for my 2015 mini Cooper, but it will only pulse the blue light for about 30 seconds then it will turn off and I am never able to detect it.

I can't answer your question. I have a 2014 328i. But as the months pass my Bovee WMA3000B has become flakier and flakier. There is some interaction from the car audio system through the device to my iPhone 7, so that, for example, starting the car resumes playback of whatever was playing on my iPhone 7 when I turned the car off, muting the BMW audio system pauses playback on my iPhone, as does switching from the iPhone as an audio source to the car's AM/FM radio. All this is nice. But as the months go by I am having goofy playback issues using the Bovee WMA3000B. For example, I start playing a podcast, and then after a moment the music app on the iPhone switches in abruptly playing some random song and the podcast pauses. This often requires two or three or more times correcting it, with me switching to my desired app on the phone, before the correction "takes" and my chosen playback continues without interruption from the Music app. This problem was the same under IOS 10 and IOS 11. It is flaky enough that I am looking for another bluetooth audio solution.

Question 2

I have a bmw 2007 329i with idrive. i assume that this will work for my system as well?? does this allow song trac brocast on the idrive screen?

Hi John,If your BMW or Mini has factory-fitted iPod integration which works via a USB/AUX socket and a Y-Cable then the WMA3000B will be compatible with your vehicle, replacing the cable you already have plugged in.There is no restrictions on BMW/Mini models or production year as long as the vehicle has the original USB/AUX option for iPod integration. The Tune2Air is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPad 1st Generation, iPad 2nd Generation, iPad 3rd Generation, iPod Touch 4th Generation and iPod Touch 5th Generation. It is also compatible with Windows/Android based Bluetooth enabled phones. Thanks,Stuart

Question 3

Will this work in my 2013 320i?

Accepted Answer

Yes!! Works great

Question 4

Will I be able to view music on display and navigate media using steering wheel or I drive control on 2011 bmw 550?

Accepted Answer

For iOS. Make sure you have Apple music installed on your phone, even if you are using Spotify or other app. Without Apple music installed, music info and track control will not work for Spotify and other music apps.

It took me a very long time to figure that out!
