Very Good
If you do any kind of research on Vitamin C you come to realise (if you have an open mind) just how important this Vitamin is. If the only research you do on the importance of C is to watch a video on YouTube by the Tahoma Clinic of Washington State USA, you will have done yourself an enormous favour. He explains why it is essential to take large doses of this vitamin to protect the body and improve the immune system. Large doses can be difficult to take as they can have a laxative effect. Also, many manufacturers make a Vitamin C tablet so weak it is almost useless. This tablet is good in that it is less synthetic than any of its competitors and it does so with a tablet that gives you 1000mg of absorbable vitamin C.If you take the Tahoma Clinics recommendation on the levels of Vitamin C to take, you would go bankrupt buying some Vit C products. To take the amount of Vitamin C that is recommended, you may need to take multiple pills a day. They recommend at least 5000mg a day. This tablet gives you only 1000mgs, so taking 5000mg a day would be a bit expensive. This is a great choice for absorbability and strength. You should be rather careful as this product can have a laxative effect if taken in large doses.Recommended if you want a good dose of Vit C

Great for bread making, a bit expensive as a supplement
I don't generally take Vitamin C supplements, or any other for that matter. I try to go for a balanced diet, and much as the industry would have you believe you need to take supplements, it shouldn't be necessary if you have a good and varied diet. I do like to take it whenever I feel a bit under the weather though, particularly if I feel like I'm going down with a cold. It's probably just a psychological effect but it seems to work. However, where I do use Vitamin C is in baking, specifically bread. The recipes in my bread maker call for "bread improver", which I soon discovered (many years ago now) meant Vitamin C. I usually have to crush up a couple of tablets with a pestle and mortar, but with these higher strength tablets in a dissolvable film I no longer need to. I found that, though a bit fiddly, the film can be remove and the Vitamin C power sprinkled directly on to the bread mix.The results are fine, the bread definitely rises more than without Vitamin C, and with these being high dosage I only need to use a single tablet for each mix.I think the price is relatively high if you were taking them as a supplement, but for bread making 120 will last me a couple of years so is decent value.

High-quality Vitamin C supplement with added bioflavonoids
These are great vitamin C supplement capsules. They are made from pullulan which is sourced from fungi grown on a starch substrate, so it’s suitable for vegetarians and vegans. They don’t contain fillers such as magnesium stearate, and are gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, nut and GMO-free. Each capsule contains 1000mg of Vitamin C and 20mg of citrus bioflavonoids which are antioxidant. They have a good shelf-life of 2 ½ years and the plastic container that they come in is fully recyclable.1000mg vitamin C is a decent daily dose for most people who want to benefit from the antioxidant effects of the vitamin. You do have to be careful that you don’t overdo it as excess will cause the runs, but it isn’t harmful apart from that. The capsules are small and easy to swallow and you get 120 in the pack, so this makes them very good value at 16p per capsule (currently), when compared to some other high-quality brands out there.I’m happy to fully recommend these as a great Vitamin C supplement (with the added bonus of citrus bioflavonoids).

High strength
These are very high strength vitamin C tablets - 1250% of the recommended daily dose. Vitamin C is harmless though and if not used it will just be filtered in the normal way through the body. For Vitamin C tablets, they're quite large - the size of a multivitamin tablet. This is to be expected though because of the amount in them. They can be swallowed easily, but if they hang around in your mouth for a few seconds they release that tangy vitamin C flavour - not unpleasant like some tablets, but a strong taste. They are on the pricey side for vitamin C tablets, but you will only need one a day, so this is 3 months supply.

Easty to swallow and decent quality
In the past I didn't take a lot of supplements but I have since Covid hit. These are high strength Vit C and have been particularly good to take during the winter months. I have not had issues with swallowing them and have found them to be a decent quality supplement to take.Price-wise they're on the high side and I note own-brand can be cheaper, especially when on sale, so that may influence purchase decision making. For me personally, this is something I intend to take in the 3-4 months over winter rather than all-year round.
