I bought this product based on the buyer reviews, especially the review which shared it helped clear up acne on the scalp. I am a grandmother with baby fine, color treated hair. I have extremely sensitive skin. I needed something to stop the itch I have at the crown of my head. I have been using a mild shampoo with lavender. It is wonderful; however, it did not stop the itch. I have used organic apple cider vinegar, a good remedy most of the time. I do not have dandruff or flakes; however, my scalp breaks out from time to time. I wanted a product that had less chemicals and more natural ingredients. I needed something strong enough to clean my oily hair without drying my scalp, but at the same time relieving the itch and acne. This product lathers extremely well, I recommend starting out with less shampoo and adding more if you need it. I did not notice any tingling to my scalp. I did leave it on my head for 3-4 minutes before rinsing. I put a minute amount of cream rinse in a cup and diluted it with water. The cream rinse has more of a peppermint smell to it, than the shampoo. I styled my hair as usual. My hair is soft and shiny. More importantly, my itch has significantly decreased. The acne on my scalp seems to be less and drying up. I am hopeful the positive results will continue. I recommend this product. It smells good and leaves my hair soft, shiny and manageable. I will be buying these products again.

Definitely love this product ! Works well with bad dry scalp / scalp psoriasis Al little bit about me: Mid length,colored hair, Fine texture, straight I have psoriasis all over my body and really bad scalp psoriasis all year but especially in summer and winter especially. I've tried prescription shampoo and they never worked for me, they also had steroids in it which is very bad & didn't help at all, in fact I think it made my scalp psoriasis worse, and it dried out my hair and stripped my highlights, my hair was constantly getting tangled up & dry. My hair color is in the toned down blonde highlights and my natural hair roots are dark brown. This shampoo and conditioner duo does not strip my hair color/highlights, does not dry out my hair, best of all ITS ALL NATURAL! NO STEROIDS, NO SULFATES /HARSH CHEMICALS! After the initial use of this shampoo and condition, I was able to see and feel the difference ! My scalp was less and less itchy after each use! I look forward to each shower session!!! Definitely great for those with really bad scalp psoriasis, I will definitely purchase this duo again! The scent is very light, you cannot even smell it, which is amazing!!! The shampoo: Goes on nice, feel a slight cooling effect and when rinsed out your hair feels EXTREMELY CLEAN & FRESH! The Conditioner : Love the conditioner, after you apply it, massage your scalp and you will feel the nice tingly fresh sensation!!! Which really does mend the itchiness of your scalp! Even after your hair is completely dry! I air dry my hair, it dries really nice and straight, no tangles, and no dry ends! Definitely recommend this product!!! A little bit of shampoo & condition goes a long way! Just wish they had bigger bottles of this duo!

I have been struggling with dandruff and an itchy scalp for years now and have tried to find solutions to curing my scalp. I couldn't find anything that really worked so I decided that I needed to research the causes for dandruff and solutions. After doing some research, it seemed to me that my dandruff and itchy scalp was being caused due to stress, dry skin, scratching, using unnatural products on my hair, and sleeping on my damp hair and scalp. I found tea tree (among other things) helped with dandruff and it was a natural ingredient, thus, I researched on Amazon and found this product. I've used this product three times over the past week and I've noticed a difference! I have less flakes (by half) and my scalp feels less itchy and irritated. There are still parts of my scalp that feel itchy and when I scratch, there are still flakes, but overall, my scalp feels better and healthier. It also smells better (fresher). I think the remaining flakes are caused due to dry skin and stress, which causes me to scratch and pick at my scalp. Thus, I hope to try a product from Maple Holistics that better moisturizes my scalp and stop scratching. PS. I found the conditioner has more of the tingling sensation on my scalp, which feels nice. The scent is not strong, just enough. The bottles are bigger than I thought! The price is cheaper than most of other company products.

If you're looking for a natural choice- I think this is a great one. I have dark, curly hair, and in the winter I wear a lot of dark colors, so I'm hyper sensitive to dandruff and scalp issues. I've been using for a few weeks and I think it has been helping. It does lather, but if you're used to drugstore shampoos it might not feel as "soapy" as you're used to. But that's a good thing! The tea tree oil is the real star of the show in this product. instead of drying perfumes and sulfates, the tea tree oil cleanses your scalp and gets rid off excess oil, the ACTUAL culprit of dandruff. It smells nice, but like a tea-tree "natural" blend, (so say goodbye to your fruity herbal essences scents). I use quite a bit of product in my hair (hairspray, pomades, oils), so sometimes I do 2 cycles of the shampoo, and then a generous helping of the conditioner. The conditioner has this fabulous cooling that really makes my scalp feel great. I don't wash my hair every day (the bottle says you should) but I go every other day, and my hair feels light and fluffy and my itchy dandruff has been reduced dramatically. I've been using natural products for my face and body wash for years, and this is a great addition to my regimen. Will be buying again!

I only use this shampoo and conditioner, I get sores on my scalp and this maple tea tree shampoo and conditioner make them all go away. also leaves my hair soft and happy

It wasn't the best but it also wasn't terrible, it helped with my scalp a bit but, I have to like scratch my scalp hard but that's honestly been with any shampoo I use. I still had patches here and there where there was still a bit left. By my main thing is that my hair feels so dry afterwards, I usually do shampoo then shampoo again then conditioner I thought that that was what was making it so dry so I tried shampooing once then conditioner but it was the same on dryness. I feel like the product works but my scalp just gets dry and I think it cases even more flaky I bought oil that has tea tree and rosemary oil to help but like I can't put much bc then my hair will look oily and I have dyed hair (specifically purple hair) so I can't wash it everyday. And also It made my hair loose color quickly. All in all it works if your scalp isn't that flaky and dyed colors like purple, pink, green, blue, orange, etc. Oh I had added some of the oil I mentioned before to the shampoo hoping it would help with dryness and somewhat did and also since the Shampoo is thick it softened it. (I didn't spell check 🤪) P.s I heard that if u put baking soda and shampoo in ur hair rinse it then continue with ur routine like normal it can help with dandruff, I haven't tried it yet so I can't promise it. Do some research and try it if u want.

I have struggled with dandruff since early highschool and have been a big user of head and shoulders, have tried selsun blue, and even went as far as trying the tar therapeutic shampoo, some of which helped a little, but in the long run, I always had the dandruff clearly present. Within the past, lets say year, my condition got so bad, my scalp was always red, itchy, and dandruff to the extent that I couldn't hide it and co-workers and friends alike would ask about it because it was obviously visible. I bought this Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Conditioner set, as I'm trying any product I can, and have used it for a week so far. Within that time period alone, my dandruff is GONE. I have separated my hair looking in the mirror and I don't see red flaky patches on my scalp. The shampoo is nice, because it does the work, but the conditioner, oh man the conditioner leaves a very nice cooling effect to the scalp and it feels so clean and fresh and a little tingly. What also is a huge bonus is it smells nice, or at least not medicated such as other dandruff shampoos. I will definitely continue to buy these products, and so very glad I decided to try them out!

Wow. I was researching dermatologists for my dandruff before I decided to try this set in combination with scalp shower brushes. I have tried Head and Shoulders before and it kind of worked, but the flakes allllways came back. I liked the natural ingredients in this product, especially Tea Tree instead of all the harsh chemicals I found in H&S. My dandruff was bad. Really bad. Like snowglobe status bad. If I ever scratched my scalp I would get a bunch of gunk underneath my finger nails. I would always wear the crown of my hair all the way slicked back or put my hair up in a tight bun to hide my flaky azz scalp. So Maple Holistics was the final frontier for me before I would seek professional help. And let me say I am so glad I never spent my money or time at a dermatologist! This product truly is working miracles for me. I would recommend using this set with a scalp brush you can find on Amazon for either $2-$7 (I bought two to test out the difference) to really work the product in. (Especially if you’ve never used a scalp brush!! It’s a must.) Even after the first time I used this shampoo and conditioner, my dandruff was gone. I was in disbelief to be honest. This product also made me realize the importance of scalp health. With all the products we use on our hair nowadays, there is a lot of build up that gathers in our scalp that needs to be cleared. I know a lot of us ladies have problems with split ends, but start at the root of the problem. Start with your scalp. It not only feels great to stimulate the scalp but promotes HEALTHY hair growth. I really love the tingling sensation of the conditioner in my scalp when I use it. Really makes me feel like it’s working. It’s been about 5 days of using the product, and my dandruff has still not returned. And I now feel loads more confident to let my hair down for really the first time in years. :) So thank you Maple Holistics for an affordable, natural solution AND for teaching me the importance of scalp health!!

Hair feels very clean but yet soft and got the volume after hair drying out too! Not cheap in my opinion but happy with the results.

I've had issues with dandruff for a couple of years now and have tried several products ranging from cheaper drug store brands like T-Gel, Alpecin & Noughty to specialist ones, but never found anything that really works. So, I thought I would give this brand a chance after seeing pretty good reviews for it across a few sites. I've only used this for a month now but it's improved my dandruff so much that it's basically all gone. There's only a speck or two left but with continued use this will no doubt be gone too. The products really do feel natural too. No harsh smells - just a fresh and pleasant smell of tea tree and a bit of menthol - and the consistency isn't too gummy or tacky like with some cheaper brands. The conditioner also leaves a really relaxing tingling feeling on your scalp, which for me is a nice de-stress element. Would highly recommend this for anyone who's found other products aren't working for them

I bought this due to having severe dry scalp issues. Makes the scalp feel nice, cold and refreshed but alas does not get rid of dry scalp. Smells good though.

Definitely wouldn’t buy again. I’ve got good hair… this did nothing for it. Not a great shampoo, as I said, would definitely not buy again . The search for the holy grail shampoo And conditioner continues!!!
