Perfect for apple picking!
This fruit picker is a must-have for harvesting from taller trees! The basket is spacious enough to hold a good amount of fruit without being too bulky. Itβs lightweight yet durable, and the design makes it easy to grab and collect fruit without damaging it. If you want to save time and avoid reaching, this fruit picker is a fantastic choice!

Needs improvement!
The front prongs need to be bent back to make pulling the fruit firmly, otherwise the fruit tends to slip out!

Excellent for the task.
I have a backyard orchard of various fruits, and cherries were always tough to harvest (if not impossible). This is an elegant solution, and the best I've found so far.I tried one, and immediately bought another. I mounted them on a 10ft section of 3/4" electrical conduit pipe (fairly strong and lightweight). I used a bit of sheet rubber at the end, to create a tight non-slip fit, and we were off to the races! ππ

Still difficult to pick fruit. Basket is good.

Works great!
I did not want to buy another pole, and this was a great picker basket to replace the rusty and wimpy wire in on my picker pole. It works better than the other and does not mind being stored outside either.

Broke after 288 days, you may need the optional cutting pole to pick cleanly
The media could not be loaded. Edit: 288 days after buying mostly kept in the shade the plastic snapped. Lowering rating from 4 to 2 starsFirst thing I found out of the box is my pole was a bit thin for this picker so when tightening the mechanism the bolt will slip out of place and detach. This was resolved by wrapping the pole with duct tape, but the screw mechanism seems like a weak point. For picking without the cutting attachment it seems to work well and feels sturdy, but you'll find that often times the fruit may rip open or in my case the branch may snap because it rips it off rather than cutting.

Worked very well on its own
Had the traditional metal wire fingers grabber for years. I got a deal on an extendable 20ft pole and attached this to it. Between these two its a game changer. This gets into spots the old style one can't as the bag collapses. You can adjust the angle so you can try to grab easier. The are no "sharp" fingers to damage the delicate skin. Picked up a metal version as well but never had to try it. The plastic took hard pulls with no deforming. The bag can hold quite a few pears before you bring it down. The old metal wire style has its place. In certain parts we swapped back to it but if I had to pick one this would be it.
