Original/Gutter Cleaning Value Bundle

I have been using my articulating ladder as a step ladder to do gutter cleaning chores and that always required an additional person to hold the ladder steady. Using this attachment on my ladder (configured as an extension ladder) along with the included gutter cleaning tools made cleaning my gutters a comparative breeze. My braced ladder was steady and sturdy feeling enough that I did not need an extra helping hand to hold it in place. I wish I had bought one of these for my ladder long ago.BTW, My packaged arrived with the box open, but luckily all the parts were there. (Whew!) Make sure you inventory the parts first thing upon opening.

Easy to assemble. It works with my Little Giant 22’ ladder. Very simple to attach and detach. Of course it will make the ladder top heavy when extended, but that’s what one would expect. I was able to clean my gutters without the ladder touching my gutters. My metal roof did not sustain any damage- no dimples where the plastic knobs touched. I am extremely happy with my Ladder Max!

It seems to be sturdy and well made, however, it didn’t work for me on my roof. I wish there was some way to adjust it to work on a less steep roof.

There are other, less expensive ladder stabilizers out there. Some of them even have the extra stand-off length to help you place them against a pitched roof. This one is made of good, heavy metal, which gives you confidence when you're cleaning a gutter 25 feet up. It assembles easily, and attaches to the ladder quickly with a couple of pins. So far so good.The problem is the accessories, which are simply not worth the extra money. There's nothing special about the scoop. I had no use for the hook, since I wasn't using a bucket for anything. However, I made extensive use of the "Gutter Grabber", which indeed saved me a lot of ladder moves. The pole that comes with it is way too short for my taste, but the threading is the same as for a painter's extension pole, so that worked well enough. The problem is that it's molded out of very cheap plastic. You're working up a ladder on a pitched roof, and sometimes things get away from you. This one did a total of three times, and after the third time it was too damaged to use any further. This was fortunately near the end of the job so I had the use of it for ONE gutter cleaning, but next time I'm going to have to do a lot more moving and climbing.

Not a fan of the plastic scoop to clean the gutters, not worth the extra $20. The Ladder Max is a great produce and performs as advertised.

Great product! easy to use, keeps gutters from being bent. I'll never let anyone on my roof any longer unless they use my Ladder-Max. As the ad said it does stabilize the ladder, and holds firm to the roof, Love this Product.
