A solid two channel amplifier
I am very pleased with this amplifier. The sound quality is excellent with absolutely no hum even at loud volumes. Set up was a breeze. One thing to look out for. A feature of this amp is a "max output" control on the back panel that will limit the output on each channel. A nice feature if you want to protect your speakers from unexpectedly high output from your audio source. The factory default is the lowest setting - so the amp doesn't put out any sound until you adjust these higher. That took a little while to figure out, and the manual doesn't include this adjustment in it's "quick setup" section.

DOA
I have several AudioSource amps for my home theater and whole house audio. This one arrived with the right channel low on gain. Touching the right master gain pot on the rear caused static. Touching or moving the channel select AB buttons on the front caused static. The problem is either bad design (switches in the signal path), cheap components (low quality pots) or bad solder joints on the PCB. Either way, it's going back. Too bad. My other AudioSource amps have been OK so far.

Great for driving Outdoor Speakers
This unit is well matched power/sound to my SlimLine Marantz receiver to drive two pairs of speakers on the porch and by the pool. No remote but the auto-sense feature will turn the unit on when there is a signal from the receiver. Make sure you feed this unit with pre-amp signals from stereo of must-channel stereo. If you feed it with a Dolby Digital signal from your receiver you'll only get limited audio. There is also the option of Speaker Level inputs so this makes this amp very versatile for a lot of applications. Overall, a reasonably priced unit with good sound.

Geat price, good features, sound disapointing.
Ordered this to replace an old integrated amp that I used to drive 2 extra pair of speakers off of the Zone 2 outputs of my surround sound amplifier. This seemed like a good choice for this application as it can drive 2 sets of speakers, and can can come on automatically once a signal is detected from the output of the other amp. But after trying it out for a few weeks, I had to return as the sound, though powerful enough for my large floor standing Paradigm speakers, just did not sound right. More harsh than the sound out of my old Arcam integrated amp, especially on the highs. It has good features for this price point, like the auto on when a signal is detected, and adjustable level controls for each channel (also need to adjust max via small controls in the back of the unit) and a remote (A/B switch, power) but did not sound right with my best speakers. Sounded find when connected to my Polk Audio outdoor speakers though. Might have to get the old Arcam fixed, as there is not a lot of choice for 2 channel audio amps under $500.

Failed after 6 monts of use.
A sudden onset of intense harmonic distortion made it impossible to listen to. This is an expensive unit to have fails o soon. I fully tested the unit in isolation so I know it isn't something else in my system causing the problem.
