A note on selecting size
My opinion and experience with size selection (review at the end):You want a snug fit (a little resistance when attaching the hose). Measure the inside diameter of the section of the hose you will be splicing it into. If that isn't an option because you'd have to cut the hose and you can't have your car down for a couple of days, then measure the outside diameter and subtract the thickness of the hose wall X2. Based on the measured inside diameter of the hose, select the adapter that is the next size up (+2mm). You may be able to get away without going slightly up in size, but the clamps will really have to bring it down and while it might not leak, the seal wouldn't be the best. USE YOUR OWN DISCRETION this is my personal recommendation based on my experience:The ID of my radiator hose was approximately 31.7mm and at the very least you should round that number up, so I ordered a 32mm adapter. Upon fitting it, it was appropriately sized, but it wasn't a snug fit and without clamps it would easily fall out. I was concerned about the seal because of how much you would have to tighten the clamps. I decided to order a 34mm and it worked out great. I could have easily used 36mm as well, but since my radiator hose was not new I left room to take into account that my old hose was probably expanded slightly. Great time to just replace the whole hose! Even though you may have to cut it depending on your application.Installation Review:Installation was easy. You will need to make a small grounding wire to attach from the small screw on the adapter to somewhere on the car frame or engine. If you have them, you may want to use hose clamps that are a little beefier than the clamps provided. I used this with an aftermarket Bosch water temp sensor and gauge, using Teflon tape on the sensor threads before installing it into the adapter. I cut out a small section of the upper radiator hose (hot side, using razor blade) to install the adapter. I would install it as close to the engine water outlet as you can. After installation be sure that none of the modified hose sits above the top of the radiator in order to help keep air from getting trapped in the system. One month after install:Everything is perfect. Great product.

Very high quality
This adapter is very highly quality. Very strong and nice looking with a very sturdy threaded area for the sensor which will enable you to obtain a leak free installation.

It works
The media could not be loaded. Works perfect just the clams were to small other then that everything is working good as it should!

Be careful turning your fitting into it.
It is made of softer aluminum and you can strip threads if you aren't careful. Other than that it works great. I used it as a coolant drain and a 2nd one as a distribution for a coolant pressure sensor (never know when a head gasket is going to go) for my turbo BMW E46 325ci. This thing works great, doesn't leak so long as you use coolant-compatible sealant on the threads and properly torque them, and comes with 2 hose clamps. Make sure to tighten the hose clamps with a ratchet and not just a screwdriver- screwdrivers slip and don't put enough torque to hold a coolant hose together under the pressure a cooling system is at while operating.

Good manufacturing. Terrible marketing (wrong size)
After having this spring a leak and forcing me to limp my car home I measured my 32mm with calipers. It is actually 30mm in OD and 32mm at the widest part of the flange. This is not how radiator piping is meant to be measured and simply incorrect on the Marketing.I would avoid this unless you have a way to measure the diameter to make sure you have the right size and then based on other comments I would order at least 1 size larger than you need. The company seems to have a misunderstanding of how radiator tubing is measured/ how tubings mate to avoid leaks.

Just what was needed for a 2010 VW beetle
I purchased one from another company and it did not fit (too small). Purchased this one to the exact measurements of the radiator hose and it fit.

Works great
Exactly what I needed good quality only thing I didn’t use were the worm clamps that come with it those aren’t the best quality but the part itself is perfect.

BEWARE! CHECK HERE FOR SIZING INFO! Not accurately listed. Still good quality part though.
So I wish I had seen the other comments but when measuring for the product size, I measured ~38mm on my CJ5's radiator. With that, I ordered 38mm on the part. The part actually measures just over 35mm on the pipe's OD even when you order 38mm. Apparently 38mm refers to the flared portion at the end. Since your cooling system can be under pressure in a closed system, this is dangerous and could randomly separate or over-compress the hose if I were to use this.I ordered the next size up 40mm and it will be here to complete the project (hopefully). Outside of that, this product looks decent and will do what I need it to for my 2 speed radiator fan install.

buena compra
