Not really yellow
Cadmium yellow medium is an orange family color, not yellow. Only cadmium yellow light is true yellow. This sold as a yellow HUE is a misnomer and no where does it tell you it's really the medium which is really very much toward orange. You cannot mix this with blues to get a decent green, like yellow should provide. Also, it is not usable as yellow in any application. There is no way to tell this from the color chart nor box top. I now have a 200 ml tube I can only use as orange, which I uses a lot less of than yellow so a waste of money for me.

Quite wonderful artist oil paints. I highly recommend them.
Perfect. I have a small space to work in that is not ventilated enough to use regular oils. I use only non-toxic pigment water miscible paints. Some colors use pigment that is toxic. I don’t use those colors which also come in this paint. I researched toxicity of oil paints before buying. The color is excellent. The texture wonderful to work with. They are true artist oils. I mix them with a safe nontoxic oil medium. It is not recommended to mix them with water because it dulls the colors somewhat.

Amateur Artist
These are reasonably priced paints of good quality. They are oily which I assume is not the best for all artists but for beginners they work well enough. I like them. I understand expert artist prefer a dryer oil paint but I can't say whether dryer is better or not. Pigments seem of good quality as well. I've heard that these paints are great paints for beginners and recommended for students because of the price. Oh, and they do wash up well. I use Dove bar soap that cleans the brushes great. I also use baby oil to clean and protect my brushes. I never would have thought of baby oil but picked that idea up from MazArtStudio.com on YouTube :).

Easy, odorless cleanup
I have been using this product for sometime. I had previously painted with regular oil paint. I liked the paint, but I didn’t care for the odor of the thinner that was used to clean the brushes. Both the paint and the thinner were provided by the teacher. The thinner or turpentine provided was supposed to be odorless. I found some water soluble oil paint at a local store, but they only offered small starter sets. I tried one and liked it, so I began using it. I looked to Amazon and found this paint. I had used products from this brand before, so I tried them and have been using them since. I have been very happy with them. I can paint at home without causing problems with chemical odors when I clean up. Thanks

It’s defective. Not knowing it wasn’t drying on pallet, I did not realize it was not drying out.
Product is defective. I have over 200 tubes of watercolor paint, and I’ve never encountered one that would not dry. I gave it time, not knowing there was an expiration date to return it. Thought eventually it would dry. It never did. So I’m stuck with a 34$ tube of paint that is truly defective. I’ve been a prime member for years, and have never returned anything. So, I was surprised to learn I had an expiration date for returning. Went to use it August 4, and realized it wasn’t dry like it was suppose to be. I’ve never known this to happen. I think it would be great if Amazon would refund my money. I’ve been a good customer and bought many things from Amazon over the years. Please make this good. I’d be happy to return it to you.

Excellent water soluble oil paint! Wish I could afford more!
Love these paints. I was a professional artist for years until my kids started school then I stopped and became a teacher assistant for 28 years until I had to retire because of a traumatic brain injury. Wanted to start painting oils again, but didnt want to hassle with turpentines etc. Heard not so good things about water soluble, so put off using them, then I saw Winsor & Newton had them❤ I use their professional watercolor and love those. Their water solubles are just as amazing! They won't disappoint. They even have that slight familiar smell of an oil paint that I love!

It's a big old tube of titanium white water soluble oil paint.
Big giant tube of white water soluble oil paint. Works just like regular oils but with easier clean up. You can thin it with water if you choose, but for the upper layers it is nice to use a water soluble oil medium. There is a fast drying one that works greatTitanium white is slow to dry so it helps speed things up..

Good consistency
I'm a beginner painter. The first time I bought oil paint I bought a kit from a company I won't mention. When I put the paint on my pallet, oil ran across the pallet. It was difficult to control. In comes Windsor& Newton. I was careful to read the reviews and saw that the paint was dryer and it was a better quality. Now I put it on the pallet and it stays put. Now I am able to better control the paint and enjoy painting all the more.I recommend this product

Not terribly impressed....
I found that it doesn't dry for ages....2 months I had to wait for a painting I had done of a white dog to be dry enough to wrap and send as a Christmas present. Just as well I started on it very early, intending to paint 3 portrait dogs, didn't dare start the others, they would have still been drying now! Maybe I used it wrong....can't think how though..

Quality paint.
Lovely smooth textured paint in a good white - a water mixable oil paint is so easy to use and you can thin it down almost to a watercolour paint texture and use for washes, or keep it thick straight out of the tube and if you're feeling extravagant slap it on with a palette knife. The thicker it is, obviously, the longer it will take to dry, as with ordinary oil paint, but used diluted it dries fairly quickly. Recommeded paint.

A lovely oil paint to work with!!
A lovely texture to this oil paint not too oily! One of my favorite colours for 'water features' in my oil paintings, brushes on the canvas beautifully!

Good Quality Water Mixable Paint
Great quality paint to apply and easy to clean. Thicker and richer feel than some alternative makes.
