The media could not be loaded.  I have been using a smaller, more expensive strobe on my drones. It was not as bright, or as effective as this Ulanzi strobe from VIJIM. The brightness is the first thing that I noticed. This little guy is BRIGHT. Nearly blinding, if you're too close to it. That's from the top.Now, this is what makes this one a little better than some others, the lens has some SIDE LITES that make the strobe visible from the sides, not blinding bright like from the top. But, bright enough to be seen at night, from the side and even below. That's something that the other guys haven't even thought about. Their lights are only visible from directly above the light.Very important: These lights meet the FAA anti-collision safety lighting requirements!!!!Next, is the mounting options. This one is Velcro mountable, like most. It comes with one side of the Velcro already attached and two patches of the other side ready to go where you want. BUT, it's also designed to be mounted with rubber bands! It even comes with a couple of small ones, like you would use on one of the rotor arms. But, you can use larger bands to fasten it around other parts, like the body of smaller drones. You can actually band two strobes on, one above and one below with the bands.Next, the different colors. Instead of buying multiple strobes for the multiple colors you may need, you now have one strobe that will do THREE different colors.Then, the flash frequency. You can go from a fast strobe to a regular flash (more common with aircraft).Finally, the cost. At $25, this is the lightest, brightest, smallest, most visible, most versatile drone strobe that I have found. I fly drones A LOT. And, I have a pretty large fleet of VERY expensive aircraft. So, it's great that I can have one set of strobes (four now) that I can move from bird to bird and know that I and any other aircraft in the sky will be able to spot my drones from any safe distance.I am very happy with the Ulanzi drone strobe lights from VIJIM. Great purchase. Five stars.

Great little, visible light for my Mini 2. It doesn’t put it over 250g!

These strobes are ideal for drones of all sizes. Putting one or two on the rear of the aircraft allows for excellent situational awareness during daylight out to about 500 yards. Essential for flight below treetops when the aircraft tends to disappear. I've been using them on a DJI Air 2S with the included velcro tabs, but the rubber band attachment adds insurance from coming off during flight. All three colors on the same unit allows for flexibility when flying with other aircraft in the same area that are also using a strobe.

If you are looking for a FAA compliant light (visible from 3 mile), this is not the light. It appears bright when you are arms-length from it. However, once in the air it is obvious that it will not be visible from 3 miles. I had mine as far as 500 ft away and it was fine; however, my estimate is the visible range is closer to 500 meters, which doesn't cut it. After now looking at reviews on YouTube, the consensus from other users is the same. If you don't care about compliance and just want a light that's lightweight and easy to use with decent battery life, then it's fine.

I put this on my drone facing forward. Makes it easy to tell which way your drone is facing when it gets out a ways. Stop and rotate slowly until the light is facing you and you are reoriented. Every drone should have this.

I used this on my dji mini 2. if you put it on top it is serving for others to see the drone. if you need it to help you see your own drone try putting it on one of the arms. It is good that you get a choice of colors and two styles of blinking all in software.a plus here is that even with one of these attached my mini-2 was still under 249 grams!

Very bright, light and easy to use. I recommend this light.

I bought two of these from Amazon, for $24.95 each. Essentially $50.00 for the pair. They are nice and bright and light weight so even a small drone shouldn't have a problem lifting them. However for what it is, it seems way overpriced. I did a little research after my Amazon purchase and was able to find the exact same lights on Ebay for $15.00 each. I bought two more for $30.00 and didn't have to pay tax, unlike Amazon. Buy them from Ebay and save yourself a little green. It's a better value.
