A new Shane...sort of
I have been collecting Walking Dead figures for about a year now with this being my 14th one. I have at least one of almost every human character from the comic and show (need a Michonne, Dwight and Negan) that has a figure. I ordered this not knowing it was a re release of the figure...though thought the price was low. But didnt care because. I got this great figure for half of what the first release is selling for.The figure looks exactlly like Shane actor Jon Bernthal. The only downer is the figure has little to no movement. Unlike most of the WD figures which have joints everywhere. This doesnt. You can only can move his head and his arms which are holding a riffle up and down. I dont care because I keep them in the package but for those who play with them or set them up to reinact scenes will hate there isnt much stuff to do.I think regardless this is a great figure for fans of the show/comic.Pros:-its cheaper then the original-looks like actor/characterCons:-no movement

Finally, a real likeness for Shane.
They finally got Shane right. It's been a positive recommendation for McFanlane that they have gone back and redone figures that had problems. They really do care about their products. Shane was one of their worst. Of course Shane was one of the earlier figures and the technology to make these figures has advanced rapidly since they began and now include complete body scans. The real problem was the head and face. The head was too large and made him look like he had accromegaly. The features looked generic and nothing like Jon Berenthal. Now we have the actor's likeness as we remember him. I had held off from getting this figure because of its poor likeness earlier and now I'm glad I did. The only issue is that if you keep the figure in the box, his head is turned outward in an unnatural way so you can see the face. But that's a quibble compared to the improvement they've made overall.

Perfect lil shane
It looks exactly like him! The only downside is you can only move his head and has a hard time standing. Besides that he's perfect! He came sooner than expected also

TWD Fan? You need Shane
Shane is one of my favorites from the series, and I love that McFarland posed him so differently. Leaving it in the package means its kinda hard to see the front of the figure, but if you're not a collector then no big deal. I had no issues with packaging or delivery. Snatch these up while they are still around.

Shane Walsh action figure review
Bought this to go along with my other Walking Dead figured collection. I took this to Comic Con to get signed by Jon Bernthal (the actor that plays Shane Walsh). The only complaint I have is that the plastic casing is slightly larger (font to back) compared to the other Walking Dead figures I have in my collection but otherwise happy with the purchase.
