Cen-Tec Systems 95556 16 Ft. Antistatic Vacuum Hose and Non-Snag Protective Wrap for Shop Vacs with Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set, Blue

Plugs directly into my Dewalt 9 gallon shop Vac that uses a 1 7/8" hose. It fits snug. It has not pulled out. So far the hose has worked great. The hose doesn't have the annoying rigidity the Dewalt hose has. This 16' hose lays down nicely across the garage floor without knocking stuff off the work bench or off shelves while using it. Also ordered the $30+ accessory kit to go with this hose. Total cost was more then the actual Dewalt shop vac we got from lowes BUT WELL WORTH IT! Wife was getting shocked from our Bosch sander connected to the Dewalt shop vac with the Dewalt hose. This was the main reason we bought this. We haven't sanded any drywall yet to know if the anti static actually works but the hose in daily use has been awesome. The extra length over the Dewalt 7' hose makes every use so much easier. Also purchased the $55 5 gallon bucket dust collection system from Home Depot which included the short hoses which fit perfect. I connected this 16' hose to the 5 gallon bucket dust collection top. Not having to replace expensive bags in the Dewalt has been great! Whichever reviewer wrote that in the comments, THANK YOU!

Really makes a difference, no sawdust attracted to hose when used for dust collection. Snap connector on end is great, and smooth exterior instead of ribbed makes it easier to move around. Wish I would have bought long ago!

I prefer this one over the one that came with my Dewalt dust extractor (DWV015) it’s lighter more flexible. It also held up when I had 5 gallon pale on the cyclone and the vacuum would collapse the 5 gallon pail in on itself. The hose still held up just fine.

Update: Feb 2026... I've been using this in my shop with Makita 40v Sanders and I am getting a substantial amount t of static shock while using this hose with sleeve. I'm going contact Centec to see what they think. I bought this kit as a value solution compared the the green German brand. The adapters do fit multiple tools, some tight, some just a little loose. I use them for the following tools: Lamello P2 Zeta, Makita corded 5" Random Orbit sander, Porter Cable disc/belt sander benchtop, woodpeckers Drill Press Pro Kit, Makita 11Gallon Shop Vac and it's floor tool accessories.

I’ll start off by saying that the hose and the attachments work as expected; no issue there. My complaint, and the reason for the 3-star review, is that after less than two weeks of light use (maybe 1 hour of total working time) the protective sleeve started to unravel from the heat shrink tape on one end. It appears that this end of the sleeve was barely inserted into the heat shrink wrap, causing it to break free from the wrap and begin to unravel. Yes, I suppose I could add my own heat shrink or even duct tape, but I didn’t think I would need to be making alterations to the hose this soon after unboxing. I just expected a little more quality control from Cen-Tec.

Good quality hose. I’m not real impressed with the outer covering so I would not get it again. Otherwise I’m very satisfied.
