The first shipment had 3/4 ladybugs not alive. I told the seller, who offered a refund or replacement. I chose replacement. When I got the second batch, most of them were alive, only a few didn't make it. I turned them loose on my gardenia, that was overrun with aphids, and they were voracious ladies! No more aphids!

Bugs came in alive and they kind of did their job? Lol next time I will do better at releasing them at the appropriate time of day since it is very hot in Florida.

The ladybugs that were sent to us had no bedding or food as the picture shows. More than half the ladybugs in each package (we bought 4) were already dead. We buy for aphids on our roses in the yard but we have young kids and we especially get so they can enjoy releasing them. We did not return or request a refund so we could rescue and save the ones still alive but I am very disappointed in the care and quality.

I’ve ordered from this company multiple times, and overall I’ve had really good experiences. My previous order of 1,500 ladybugs arrived in great condition with only one or two losses, which is to be expected. This most recent order, however, was a bit disappointing as about half arrived dead. I do live in South Texas, but the weather was actually pretty mild that week, so I wasn’t expecting any issues. That said, I’ve started noticing larvae from my previous order showing up in my garden, which is a great sign and definitely a plus! Even with this experience, I still plan to order again because I really like this company and have had good results overall. Sometimes nature (and shipping) can just be unpredictable.

These insects will do the job if you need help with pest control but they are not the American Lady Bug (Hippodamia convergens) rather they are the Asian Lady Beetle (Harmonia axyridis). Every one of the bugs I received was orange with a wide variety of dot patterns. I uploaded a picture to AI for confirmation of my suspicions.
