Plasplug Hgdw110 Diamond Wheel for Dw106/Pm

Worked as good as the original blade supplied with the saw.

I bought this (based on the positive reviews) as a spare for an "own brand" tile cutter when working on a small project to cut some large 10.5mm porcelain tiles . The fist thing to note was it was thicker than the blade supplied with the tile cutter. When the original balde had blunted after a fair few cuts and caused a tile to break at the end of the cut (rather than cutting all the way through), I switched to the Plasplug blade. The fit was good, but it caused a tile to break at the end of the cut as well - indeed, every tile after that did, meaning I had to rearrange some of the layout.Is it that I have a poor cutting technique? Hopefully not, as well over half the cuts were fine before the "own brand" blade became worn. Therefore I suspect the Plasplug blade is at least partially to blame. 3 stars as it worked, but not as I had hoped, or as well as a cheaper alternative.

Bit thicker than I’d like and does chip the edge of the tiles, so not ideal but at least it’s straight

Needed to finish a tiling job.

Correct part for my Plasplug tile cutter. The cutter was cheap and has lasted a long time, but finally, after cutting a lot of porcelain tiles, it was getting a bit blunt. Now it's good as new.
