Works better than expected
My cat has a bad wound on her chest and wearing a cone doesn't stop her from scratching it with her hind foot. I applied this to the four paws on that foot and after the first try, only one stayed on for more than a day. On the next try, I knew to use more of the adhesive and five days later, all four claws are still covered. The original one that must have had enough glue is still on.The instructions say to fill the cap 1/3 of the way with glue. Since the cap is opaque and very skinny, I find it impossible to tell when it is 1/3 full, but overfilling is my recommendation. I also did try to clean each claw before applying.

Every cat owner should use
I wish I would have started when my cats were kittens. Game changer, no more scratches on my couches. No more runs on my comforter. As long as your cat lets you trim there nails they are really not that difficult to apply.

Not worth the cost
They don’t stay on any better than the cheap knock offs, but the internal locks made them harder to put in and made my cats angry. I’ll stick to the cheap ones from now on.

The purple is sturdy and thicker
These soft claws have a greater durability. Same company has different colors which are a bit softer. The purple is sturdy and thicker. The others are fine as well, just softer.

No, way
They work buy keeping your cat from scratching stuff and you but be aware that they are superglued to your cats nail so keep an eye on them so they don't hurt themselves, my cat hated these and cried when I put them on and cried when they came off, if you have ever had fake nails glued to your nails and in was pulled or ripped off this is how your cat feels, she used to love her paws touches and rubbed but after using this she hates her paws touched.
