I would have liked for the measurements to be precise, it was a bit of a guesstimation on my end. Lucky for me they were the perfect fit!These are 11.5" and work with the rubbermaid shelves I reviewed!

Just what I was looking for to complete my closet organization. Purchased the 3-6 foot Rubbermaid Configurations kit and needed a couple more shelves. This product comes with two shelves: a 26" "A" shelf and a 26" "B" shelf. It does not include the brackets, so these need to be purchased separately. Highly recommend the Rubbermaid Configurations closet kits. We have all four bedrooms in our house done in them. Love how they are adjustable and can be set up exactly how you want it. Loved how I could buy a couple additional shelves to complete my project just the way I wanted it.

I am on to order another round after 5 years of use and thought I'd post the practicality of this hamper. WOW!!! The ONLY reason I am purchasing another new to replace 1 of 3 is that my older son came home to do his laundry and I noticed that he put a towel that had engine oil in the basket (that had been sitting mind you), which explains the "funky" smell his clothes had when he did the same 2 weeks ago. ok, time for the trash (while he is not looking:), ---not the poor basket's fault. I am giving him one in the house that belongs to his younger brother and replacing his younger brothers with a new one ordered tonight. That is a long way of saying that these things are truly amazing. If not for oil, his basket would have made it's 6 year birthday intact, strong, and still kicking. He has gone through moving 3 times after becoming a young adult and this thing has stood up to the wear and tear. The non-descript tan coloring (cloth) on the outside is perfect for so many uses. The ability to wipe down the inside nylon is perfect. The cutouts/handles make these so great to carry from room to room, or apt to apt. The foldability is useful for when young adults leave the home or guests invade your house (just pull out of closet. Some people have written that there is cardboard on the insides (and the bottom square that separates for folding). Uhhh, yes, that makes it strong, BUT foldable. The integrity is still intact! My boys have thrashed these things and maybe they have pooched a tiny on the side in almost 6 years from boys stuffing beyond capacity, but the 3rd household hamper (that never got stuffed), looks brand new, no pooching. These really last a loooong time, are very inexpensive and can be versatile in it usage. Don't think twice about ordering this great buy. I so loved not needing to "re-research" the perfect hamper as this is still available. Hamper LOVE:)
