I bought this product in order to take up daily yoga exercises to help with pain arising from hyper-mobile joints. The material is a great thickness providing the right amount of resistance vs. softness for exercising safely. This is evidenced by the slight imprints left on the mat by your hands/feet which spring back nicely. I love the pattern and that a strap is included for easy transportation and was very pleased it is long enough for me (I am 5'11 with long legs!). There's a bit of a foam-y smell at first but it airs out quickly so this didn't bother me at all (you could easily wipe with water+lemon juice or any other cleaner for a quick fix if you are smell-sensitive). The material is easy to wipe clean after a sweaty session! For one of the cheaper yoga mats out there, this is really good value for money.I was pleased with how quickly the product arrived & with no issues. I also received a follow-up email from Mike at Gallant Sports personally thanking me for being one of their customers and checking I am 100% satisfied with the product, which I really appreciated. Comfortable yoga mat

I use this mat for yoga, its nice and thick, and also non slip. Its comfortable to use doing yoga and has a nice design. This is my second purchace of this particular mat, my cats scratched my old one to bits!!! If anything happened to this one, i would buy again.

Great thickness, but slips when you move too much on it! Can't do a down dog without having to readjust, but great for head stands and kneeling

Product has a beautiful pattern and colour that makes me very happy. Perhaps more importantly the mat itself is lovely and thick, and therefore very comfortable for doing pilates on a hard floor. No more painful hips! A friend used this for yoga too, so it's also fine for standing, balancing and twisting postures. My only minor issue is that the strap isn't quite tight enough on the elasticated part to hold as tight as I'd like, but I guess this also means it doesn't damage the mat, so not a big deal. I'll probably want a larger cloth bag at some point, as it doesn't fit into regular yoga mat bags, so will need to investigate what's available.
