Wow, talk about getting it right. Excellent ink brightness and consistency. Outstanding ink nozzle fitting on bottle top; super easy to use. Manufactured in Germany, not China. Regarding the negative ratings on the difficultly getting bottle out of hard plastic packaging it comes in: Use a HEAVY DUTY pair of scissors to cut all four sides of plastic around bottle; then, it is possible to pop out the ink bottle from the remaining plastic, which is intentionally a friction fit. If you do this, you will get the bottle out of its packaging without damage.

The ink works well with a Trodat self inking stamp. Would probably work well with any self inking stamp.The packaging is "spill proof" and "child proof" but apparently not "fool proof", which would probably explain why some fools reviewing on here managed to cut the packaging in such a way as to pierce the bottle and ink everything but their stamps..Cutting it out on 3 sides is enough to get the ink out unscathed.A few drops does the trick. Bottle will probably last me 5 years or so. Not bad.
