You may need to get two as it can be difficult to mould with a good seal. They are much more comfortable than foam ear plugs. I doubt the 31dB claim, however.

Simple instructions, fitted and moulded once and the sound reduction is insane. Do it properly and take your time and you will have a perfect fit. I have an ear piercing which always interfered with normal plugs. Not these, I took my time, kept pressing and moulding as the plastic cooled and the result is just perfect for me. Highly recommend 👌

I'm a musician and purchased these as a replacement. Fitted ok after fiddling around with them and heating them a couple of times, but once they cool they shrink a little and so are not a tight fit. Also once they cool they are really hard plastic and very uncomfortable to fit and wear. As they dont give a tight fit once they cool they are really useless to me. I can't recommend these at all.

Crap threw them away and had some made

After reading other reviews, I followed the instructions to the letter. I got my son to assist with fitting and moulding them. They are really effective as I use them for clay target shooting and needed a good product and quickly. Happy out
