This was a gift and the recipient thought the condition fine. I felt the condition was not as good as I expected but if the intended reader is happy then so am I !

Once you pick up Commandos, you won't be able to put it down. The author digs into the secret world of special ops warriors and their training and reveals unbelievable tactics, training, and actual combat action. These guys are the toughest humans alive.

GREAT BOOK FOR BEGINNERS
I HAVE READ MUCH ABOUT SPECIAL FORCES AND TALKED TO MANY PEOPLE. I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT WAS A BIT GENERAL. BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN BY A JOURNALIST IT ISN'T REAL SPECIFIC. IF YOU HAVE NO OR LIMITED KNOWLEDGE ABOUT U.S. SPECIAL FORCES THEN THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BOOK. EVEN WITH MY KNOWLEDGE OF THEM I STILL LEARNED A FEW THINGS ABOUT SPECIAL FORCES.
