Shatter The Darkness (Ignite The Shadows)

I have read eight of the nine books that Ms. Seymour has written in her three trilogies and have enjoyed each one of them (the ninth hasn't been released yet). Shatter the Darkness, like her other books, is highly creative and full of action. I found myself trying to slow down so the series wouldn't end. There were a few loose ends I didn't quite fully understand, so perhaps if I ask nicely we will see some back stories like we did in the Djinn Empire series! I thank her for another highly entertaining book.

I loved the concept of a world and humans just about losing the planet to an intruder .... Of the brain.

Wow this series is to die for. Guaranteed my teenage students would love to read her. I like a lot of authors but Ingrid Seymour is right on top of my list that I have to read her books. Her books are not short reads they are full length for each book. Will worth the price. She describes everything like your right there. We have suspense, horror, unknown, heartache and so much more. There are spots you want to cry and don't really know why. Marci is so consumed about everything and trying to prove to John that she can be trusted and that she is sorry. The truth about her brother Luke comes to light and what will she do? Can she keep up the charade with Elliot or will he figure her out? Lamia is out to get her, but can she stop her from hurting her? Will she ever find out who her true parents are? Ayden is still in contact with her, but what are they really doing? Three fractions, but who will win? Or will they all lose? What about the human race? I received a free copy for my honest review.

This book is an amazing conclusion to the series! Drama, suspense, intrigue, twists and turns, action packed edge of your, fast paced, page turner! Who can Marci trust, with people being taken over by eklyptors. Has she trusted the wrong people? Join Marci and the gang to find out! And I thought this series could not get any better. Or crazier. So I was blown away with what happened. Full of action, suspense, danger, people taken over by THEM and lots of drama. I had my fingers crossed for who would make it to the end and how the bad guys would be defeated. Who can she trust. I loved the story and I was hooked to the end. A great series and a great story to end it. Well worth the wait. I received an advance copy and reviewed it as I loved it.
