Love this safe. Ordered 3 more for other family members and friends. It’s strong and feels secure. The key pad is battery operated but you get a key with it too so u can open the safe If the battery dies. It also has a 9 volt battery contact underneath the keypad so u can use any 9 volt battery to power the keypad and open the safe should the main battery die. Beware it has two separate default code that you would need to change. The instruction doesn’t make it very clear. Also only one key.

Good safe, is as advertised. It’s not a high end safe, however has some good features. The door does not close completely flush, and the walls are not thick, however, depends what you expect to keep in it. For general documents and a laptop / devices it’s perfect.
