This kit pretty much includes any size I would need and comes in a case that seems somewhat sturdier than others. I have used a couple sizes from the kit on a small cargo carrier project I did. Each tube used crimped great (using their tool), shrunk perfectly, and seems pretty weather tight. All that is well and good, but the key is that each electrical connection worked flawlessly. This kit may cost you fractions of a penny more per connector, but you are paying for quality in each one. To me that is well worth a couple dollars more. I would recommend this kit and the crimping tool they make as great companions. The company just needs to put both of these into a nice convenient kit with a space in the box for the crimping tool.

I used these butt splice’s to re-wire a engine bay that squirrels had chewed through the wiring and it worked great! They really hold onto the wiring super tight when I did the pull check to verify it had a good crimp and the heat shrink is made into the butt splice, so it was a breeze to environmentally seal from the elements.. The crimping tool is color coded for the each size/coloring of butt splice and works extremely well.. I’m happy with my purchase and I will def purchase again.

From a Master Tech with over 40 yrs of experience, these crimps work great. They are heat shrinkable with sealing adhesive which is absolutely necessary for any wiring exposed to the elements, and just good practice overall. Got the top of the line Wirefy crimping tool as well, with additional crimping jaws and I'm lovin' it! Well worth the investment.

I used these when splicing in my graphs and speaker system. They appear to be well made and do what I wanted. They hold well even with all the vibration of going across the water.

I have used similar connectors which shrink to seal the wires and ideally also cause a soldered connection, but the insulation around the soldered union tends to break down somewhat thus rendering the end result unacceptable. However, this design is substantially more robust both on the crimped/soldered union and for the shrink plastic. The only complaint is that what's supposed to end up as a soldered connection doesn't appear to be complete. Still, the resulting union is strong, intact and waterproof.

These have excellent strain relief and are pretty rigid once you shrink them. They work well with the Wirefy crimper, which you should also probably get. There’s enough in this set to do a few practice crimps even if you’re into that.

Nice crimp connectors. Shrink tube has sealant that makes these water tight. Use with Wirefy crimping tool for best results.

Konnte nichts negatives feststellen. Lässt sich mit geeigneter Krimpzange gut nutzen und mit Heißluftpistole auch gut schrumpfen. Um Schäden an der Kabelisolierung durch Hitze zu vermeiden, habe ich die Kabel um den Stoßverbinder mit Alufolie umwickelt. Hat sehr gut funktioniert.
