Does this work off of home internet? which i don't have. i have a cell phone. if it will work off a cell phone how far away can it be?

Senser MUST be linked to Tuya or Smart life app via WiFi which means you MUST have home internet.

Can i change the alarm noise? i am using sensor as a mailbox alert. i just subscribed to the sms service. if alerts are off do i still get an sms?

i had 4 of these stand alone sensors. 3 failed in the first month. one i just rebilt

Is this water proof for shed door?

NO not weatherproof not reliable indoors

can this connect to two phones?
