Decora 18 Gauge Black Floral Wire 16 inch,50/Package

After trying everything I could think of to make flower stems for tissue paper flowers, I found these and thought they were worth a try because they sounded useful and cost almost nothing. They surpassed "useful" by a long shot. They are easy to bend but don't bend when you don't want them to. They're easy to cut to the length you want, easy to manipulate and work with, and they're GREEN. It took me some time to detach the flowers I'd already spent hours attaching to straightened coat hangers (wrapped laboriously with green tape), but it was worth it, and I didn't have to track down and deal with impossible-to-deal-with coat hangers for any more flowers!

Good quality. Nice green color. Worked well for what I order the wire for.

Perfect for decorating garland with ornaments and picks. Also long enough to secure garland to banisters. I like that it is wrapped to avoid scratches.

This wire is really stiff when it comes to making small loops, but it’s a sturdy good product. Just keep a small pair of pliers handy.

I bought these to use with Spun cotton to make ornaments. They are working just great! I will buy again

I love the paper-covered wire when making paper flowers because the glue sticks much better than regular wire. The 18 gauge is sturdy, but not too think that it’s difficult to cut with wire cutters. I’ve purchased these many times and will continue to do so.

The description says these are wrapped in florist’s tape, but looks like plastic sheathing to me. I’m annoyed because I purposefully ordered because I expected them to be plastic-free. If you’re not concerned about that kind of thing, they’re fine. Very stiff, but pliable enough for a few rough bends.

The product is 18 gauge wire wrapped in brown floral tape, there is no extra padding or thickness, just wire and tape. Functions well, but if you're looking for a thicker stem, this isn't it
