I thought this would have been brilliant. I bought it as a gift so didn’t have time to return it. It came ripped and with some sort of oil finger prints on it.When the giftee opened it he found a sticker on the charging platform that just wouldn’t come off.It made it look cheap Considering the price of it.

I bought this for my wife, and she loves it. She's used it daily for the last month.

This keep-warm mug is a great option for any hot-drink loving home worker who, like me, often gets distracted or carried away with things and forgets to drink their hot drink until it’s too late.I have this placed on my desk in my home office and it has replaced my former wireless charging pad that I was using for my phone. I can now place my phone on this charger when needed, but I can place the mug on it when I’ve got a drink on-the-go but I know I’m going to get deep into a particular topic/meeting/webinar/training-video. The pad manages to keep the mug ticking over at a warm enough temperature to sustain the drink at a palatable level for a lot longer than I would otherwise get. Visually, the charging pad itself isn’t entirely in-keeping with the look of the mug - which is perhaps a missed opportunity.Down-sides, I can’t get my authentic-looking americano in a glass mug if I use this mug. The overall look of the mug is inoffensive though, and has a nice smooth appearance. Another down-side is that the charge pad requires a dedicated high-output charge plug which protrudes quite a lot. You can’t power it off your laptop or some lowly auxiliary USB charge port built into your wall socket. This means it will take up a precious mains-socket and in my case that required a bit of re-jigging to accommodate the size of the plug.It comes with a little lid and spoon for the mug which I’m not sure if I would bother with as I’ve certainly not used them so far.Overall, it’s a nice idea which could be appreciated by someone who likes their hot drinks but doesn’t always get around to drinking them in time - particularly in a home-office setting. It is rather expensive at over £50 (at time of review), but even if you factor in the wireless charger which typically cost under £20 this still seems like a stretch.

This arrived nicely packaged and would be ready to wrap for a gift. I have never owned one of these before so it was pretty novel. I used to work as a barista and no matter if I was in the shop, whether I am in an office now, or at home I often forget to finish my drinks in time and I cannot stand when hot drinks go cold - straight down the drain. This keeps your drink nice and hot for you to take your time while working etc. I also tested the product to see how quickly a drink went from cold to hot, this took a good hour so I wouldn't necessarily use it for this function unless a drink had gone cold while working. I like that it also has the function of charging your phone and has a different setting for this, I believe it does this by a weight sensor on the plate but I would be cautious to only use when in the same vicinty just for safety. The price, it is at a higher price point than I would go for usually however it is a nice set particularly as you can use it as a charger also and with the mug included, cover and spoon. It does come with a 3 point plug, I just found it after I had taken the picture.

Super cool accessory and really useful!Mug warmer - it looks very nice as it is designed very good, the shape of the cup is very cool, minimalistic and the tea spoon is also very nice. There's a lid as well and helps it to be warm for a longer time. Easy to clean, the cup is not kept too hot, just warm, ok.The wireless charger - it's obviously not a fast charging deck but enough for my earphones, for example, for a long time charging when I am not in a rush or some similar situation.I like it very much, I find it very useful and it's still on my table after several months of use. Still looks good and still useful.

What a brilliant idea. Keeps your cuppa nice and hot whilst your busy with other things. The cup is very good quality the only thing that lets it down is the handle is very small so it’s a squeeze to get your hands/fingers around the cup properly.Added bonus is you can actually use the base to charge your phone if your phone is wireless charging compatible, charged my iPhone 12 within 30 minutes

This didn’t work out for me. The unit comes well packed but with a sticker on the heat plate which I couldn’t remove properly. I didn’t want to heat it up because of this and the majority of the sticker stubbornly remained. Eventually it did go but left a horrible residue. The unit does work but for me it’s not necessary and although the finish is nice the residue annoys me. I’m not impressed.

Now I’m going to start with saying I most definitely would not spend £50+ on a product like this but that’s just because I feel it’s an unnecessary item in the grand scheme of things. That being said this coaster is an excellent idea. It works exactly as it should and has been made to a high standard. It keeps my beverages perfectly warm which is great in and office setting as well as home!
