Screw Terminal Block Breakout Module Board for ESP32-DevKitC

Perfect size when other breakout boards wouldn't fit. Highly recommend, even if the price is a bit steep.

I see some other users complaining that it wouldn't fit their ESP32 devC board. When I look at their photos I see that they got a different version than I have. Mine has 2 double row pin headers as shown in the description photo. That allows a bit of variance in how far apart the rows of pins are on the ESP board. I can confirm it fit an ESP32 devC board perfectly.It's a well thought out board with multiple GND and 3.3V supply terminals. The screws are easy to access and there's enough room to keep things compact while still being accessible. It's really a nice compromise maintaining the ease of a breadboard and the reliability of a soldered PCB.

The Esp32 is wider than the middle part of my breadboard, making connections to the pins difficult. I can cow screw the connections onto the correct points on the screw terminals. I was also able to hack and use this board with an esp32S. The width of the ESP32s is smaller than the the socket to place the chip in. So I added riser pin headers to the ESP32s and spread them out enough to fit this board, giving up the 5v and clk pins since the ESP32s has 2 pins less than the socket. Overall it works great.

For those of us connecting wires directly to the ESP32 pins, this takes a lot of headaches out of the equation. Connections are simple to switch, swap, jump, etc! It does add footprint to your project, but I have found myself actually leaving the breakout board as part of the final product, because if troubleshooting or maintenance are ever needed, you do not have to go down to the board level (where applicable) to get things done.

This is a high quality board, but unfortunately the headers are 1.0" apart while the pins on the ESP32 I have are 0.9" apart. Only one of the existing reviews mentioned this. Upon searching for dimensional information, it appears that the pins on some modules are 0.9" apart while on others they are 1.0" apart. I haven't found row spacing stated anywhere. I thought there may be an issue, so I also bought a PUSOKEI Development Expansion Board Module,ESP-WROOM-32, which has headers at 0.9" apart.

This is a great board to take your ESP32 project to the next level. The screw terminals provide for a robust connection that that could work in a lite industrial application.

Very easy to use and secure with the screws. Very good item.

No complaints. It was used for the purpose of integration on my electronics with a job well done.

Fits my ESP32 DevkitC V4 perfectly with 1.0 inch footprint. Will buy again.
