Very supportive and comfortable!
My preschool age daughter has been wearing SMO ankle braces for the past two years to address ankle hypermobility and overpronation. Her physical therapist recently determined that she was ready to move from braces to a supportive orthotic insole. She recommended another brand that ended up being too narrow for my daughter’s normal-width foot, so I ordered a number of other ones to try instead. This was the clear winner!! They have a deep heel cup, reinforced firm support through the arch, and fit perfectly in a normal width shoe (we ordered the 12-1.5 size for a child who wears a 12.5-13 size shoe). We’re probably going to end up going with a prescription-only orthotic because my daughter still needs just a little bit more support, but these provided nearly equivalent support for immediate availability and less than a third the cost. My daughter’s PTs were very impressed and will be recommending these for people to try in the future!

No more pain
My 7-year old seems to be prone to flat feet. We decided to try these insoles to give her more arch support inside her shoes. They arrived quickly and she was eager to put them into her shoes as she has soreness in her feet. The insoles are hard and structured—conforming to the shape—of the heel and arch, but the rest of the foot is flexible. We had to cut them down one shoe size. The line was indicated on the back of the insole, so it was easy to cut along the line, at the flexible portion of the insole. Once that was done, they fit her sneakers perfectly. My daughter is delighted. She’s asked if she can wear her shoes indoors because her feet feel so good. She wears them all day with little breaks. She leaves her shoes by her bed, so she can put them on when she wakes up. Thank you for a great product. We’ll buy another pair so she can have indoor and outdoor shoes with support.

Not for us
My 10 year old daughter was needing an insole. They are well made and give support. The problem we had with this insert is that it was so thick she could not get her foot into her shoe. It took too much of the depth up.

Best kids orthotics for the money
I have found these to be the best kids orthotics for the cost. They hold up to daily wear and are well made. I have a pair in my child's everday sneakers and in his football cleats.

Works very well for my daughter
We started using this insole 7 months ago (pretty much non-stop)for my 9 year old daughter`s flat foot. She is wearing them in her school Nike shoes and in her tennis court shoes . We removed the existing inserts and replaced them with the KidSole. We saw the difference almost immediately, the way she walked in the shoes and also in her tennis performance(runs better, faster, not tripping over as much and moves easier side to side)She got used to it right away and never complains, actually she says she feels better wearing them . I also see the difference on the arch of her foot. I just ordered 2 more pairs for her new school shoes and tennis court shoes. Planning on using it as long as her foot grows so hopefully will grow out of her flat foot by the end of her teen years.

The material is sturdy but not so rigid that she is uncomfortable in ...
My daughter has very flat feet and toes in when she walks. She is generally uncoordinated and we are actually working on core control for her. I finally went ahead and got her these inserts to help her. She wearks a big-kid size 3 and these fit perfectly in her shoe, no trimming needed. I noticed instantly that her heel strike improves as well as her toe-in position. She does not cross mid-line nearly as much in the inserts as she does without the inserts. The material is sturdy but not so rigid that she is uncomfortable in them. She's been wearing them daily for a week and has no complaints. I love that they have a deep heel cup to support her calcaneus, metatarsal arch support (which I was not expecting, but is great!) and substantial longitudinal arch support. $24 is a fantastic price for this quality of product!

Supportive but too bulky to fit
These are good quality and seem very supportive. I misunderstood though and thought they were 3/4 length. The problem with a full length insole like this is that most shoes aren't made with removable insoles in them, so adding this makes the fit too tight to squeeze their foot into. There's not enough room in the toe box. I tried them with 3 different pairs of shoes. I really wish they would work because I can tell they would help my daughter not roll her ankles. But unfortunately they are too bulky. I'm toying with the idea of cutting off the end (I wear custom orthotics that are 3/4 length and they work with most - but not all - shoes), but not sure if they would be comfortable unless I got it just right. I may look for a 3/4 version, because the quality is there.

Podiatrist impressed with these, "as good as any he has seen or could order!"
When looking for inserts to help my son while waiting for his podiatrist appointment I found these, read the reviews (along with many others) and decided to give them a try. My son says they are very comfortable and instantly helped with the pain and discomfort from his flat feet that came to the forefront after a week of soccer camp. He wears them everyday and can definitely tell when he walks a lot without them. He had his podiatrist appointment a week ago and was diagnosed with flat feet and tendinitis. The Dr. was VERY impressed with these inserts and said they were as good as any he had seen or could order for us. He said to keep wearing them and buy bigger when needed. Stretching and rest and hopefully he will grow out of the issue. Just wanted to share our experience for others trying to help their kiddos-these may save you a few hundred dollars too!
