First off it's very sharp right out of the box. It has great balance with a comfortable handle.Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend if you're looking to add to your kitchen utensils.

I really enjoy this addition to my collection although I'm not so sure it's a true demascus, juxtaposed to my high end Japanese chef's knife the temper and fold don't quite match up to the method, however that's ok because it does its job splendidly slicing through bread and looks fancy enough, I can overlook that potential shortcoming considering what I paid and how it looks, the teeth also look like they will be very easy to sharpen when the time comes which I can't imagine being any time soon considering it's strictly a bread knife.

This cleaver is large and well made. It has some heft and will certainly cut sharply and do light to medium chopping needs. This is not a cleaver for really hard bones. Only thick bone cleavers should be used for hard tough bones!

This was such a pleasant surprise, we ordered another one as a gift. It’s a tad gaudy, but it is sharp and ergonomic. My wife has vintage Sabatiers, Shuns, etc., but says this little chopper just feels “right”.

Excellent knife

Incredibly sharp right out of the box. Has stayed sharp for a month of solid use. It glides thru vegetables like a dream. Nicely balanced and feels great in the hand, Comes in a nice box that I use for storage. The only thing I would change would be a adding a sheath so it can store in the drawer with my other knives easier. But I don't really care about that too much because this knife deserves a box. I haven't tried to sharped in yet so have no experience with that. But it seems to hold its edge well.

Not too sure when I ordered this up if this low priced knife is good enough. It is surprising good especially for everyday usage. I sharpen my knives monthly since I want razor sharp kitchen knives. Just becareful when you use it. It will not forgive your mistake but reward you for your skill. The Damacus pattern is beautiful. Hand wash and dry immediately with a towel only.

Love the weight the shape and durability. Was cutting an onion and got my finger cause it was surprisingly easy to cut! All healed and love my knife!
