good coil
coil is good if you are covering alot of ground , ive not seen the depth performance yet that people are talking about ,,, if you in trashy area little coil is better

Returning
The package came with no papers, instructions , unwrapped and no box seal. The coil failed to work with an error code 41, even though the Amazon on line information said it was compatible with the Equinox 800 metal detector. I am returning it.🙁

Great for covering ground in wide open spaces, good depth, fairly accurate depth reading, but lacks accuracy on target identification, lacking discrimination as well.
