Great sounding practice and gear learning tool.
Useable sounds, some configuration sound awesome. Fun to jam with Youtube lessons or any portable music player via Bluetooth. Quite good sounding device for the price. Downside is can't connect app through Android. Apple app works though. It provides 8 Fender amps, 2 Marshall, Vox, Peavey, Orange, Hi Watt, Friedman some boutique amps and some Metal amps. Amp simulation is not bad, however personally owning a 65 Deluxe Reverb and a 65 Princeton Reverb they did not work hard to make these classic amps shine. Tone wise this device is remarkable, especially high gain setups, however breakup/crunch is always VERY difficult to repro with digital equations, the main reason I'm not a big fan of digital processing in my electric guitar / bass signal path. Big fan of digital processing on acoustic guitar and vocal signal though. High gain amps are well reproduced, as well as some of the tweeds are very exciting, but the black faces could use a bit of polishing. The Bass Brakers are awesome but they're no longer available. What I prefer about these simulators is that I can discover both classic amps and effects. I discovered great Bass Guitar Amps and Effects a long time ago with a multi effect and I went and got the real amps and pedals. While playing with the Marshall models. I stumbled on Friedman amp (FBE-100) which I found the most exciting sounding amp of all the model collection. So I started looking closely at Friedman gear... Cool gadget, fun and convenient to practice with, sounds great but will stick with the real tube amps for sound though. I don't imagine myself ever recording with this.

Amazing Headphone Amp, worth the price
I was looking for a headphone Amp so I could practice anywhere I wanted without having to lug around my bulky Katana 50 . After reading the reviews , I decided to give this a try. I had a couple of issues at first - 1. The jack didn't plug in snug on my guitar and 2. There was a lot of "static" even in the pre-amp. After a bit of digging I realized the issue was with the connector on the guitar and some of the same issues happened with the Katana as well. Once I replaced the connector, this works like a charm. The quality of sound is amazing and you can get a wide variety of sounds which should be sufficient for any style of music. The Equalizer is really good and even though it only has 5 modes but they are distinct enough to get a good balance without dedicated Bass and Treble controls. The bluetooth function is great and you can stream backing tracks/music without any delays from your computer/phone/tablet. The charge lasts a good 3-4 hours so you can get good use out of it without charging. You can use it while charging as well for really long sessions if you want. While this is definitely one of the more expensive headphone amps , but given it's versatility and quality I would say it is totally worth it.

This is EXACTLY what I needed for my bass practice setup. YOUSICIAN PLAYERS LOOK NO FURTHER
I am a 36 year old father that loves to just play some bass in the small amount of downtime that I have, and have been looking for a headphone amp that I can plug into my iPad for Yousician and play with headphones. Holy crap this thing has delivered on that plus more. You literally just plug this into your guitar/bass, plug in headphones, plug in a usb cable to your ipad, phone, computer, whatever and you are done. Just make sure the input device is selected as Fender Mustang, then pair the Fender Mustang to the device via bluetooth so you have audio coming back through to your headphones, and you are done. 2 cables, no more spaghetti mess of cables to go from your PC, to audio interface, to amp, etc. And to top everything off, it sounds great going through different cabs for bass. Adding effects makes it even better, I play a MM Stingray and being able to easily adjust through different models and effects easily to find the tone I usually like was so easy. Price for this is incredible for what it can do. Now if I want to leave the house and just go chill at the park, listen to my favorite music to play with, or practice with Yousician I feel the freedom that I can without packing 13 different things with me. Here is a quick list of pro's and cons after playing with it for a little bit Pros - Small form factor, tons of amp models and effects to choose from. Easy modification of effects and changing of effects Flawless function on iPad, PC, and Android (Tested all) Sounds incredible with bass Easy changing of effects Great battery life USB C!!!!!! Build quality Cons - Effect combinations - There are effects that are combined together. I'd like to be able to choose single effect over a combination. Honestly that's about the only complaint I can think of.

Very pleased with this Fender product!
I did a fair amount of research before purchasing this product through a number of YouTube product reviews. I would suggest doing the same as there is really nothing to hide here. This device would be a welcome edition to any guitar players gear bag. I'm using it with a set of Presonus studio headphones but it sounds just as great with some $1 shoestring earbuds from Dollar Tree for practice. The uniqueness of this device is that it offers 12 distinctive amp sounds that you can dial in with modify & effects (presets). Now don't expect a Marshall stack at this price point. But the sound, versatility, portability and some absolute KILLER tones eminating from a device not much bigger than a Matchbox car. Amazon offers a padded case that fits the unit. Battery Life is unbelievable. You'll be thinking how long does this thing run on a charge? Pretty damn long. Kudos 👍 to whoever designed this at Fender. Take a guitar, gig bag, small headphones or portable Bluetooth speaker and your able to practice anywhere on the run. The best feature is likely the ability to stream a backing track via Bluetooth and play simultaneously through 1 of the 12 amp presets including an acoustic electric. It's even possible to tweak the preset output with a few slight adjustments up or down using the Modify button. So any guitarist should be able to dial in a desired setting that they're happy with. Great practice gadget. Get a long cable for the headphones which you will use.
It's a modeler in your palm, with enough power to drive headphones or earbuds. For newbies: In the early days of electric guitars, amplifiers had no bass, no treble, and lots of distortion. Guitarists, engineering whizzes that they are, thought this was just GREAT. Now we have amps with lots of bass, lots of treble, hardly no distortion. So we used highly advanced electronics to get rid of this lovely clean sound. That is called modeling. You have to look hard to find an amp which does not model electronics from the age of vacuum tubes or which does not actually use vacuum tubes. As a modeler, it's fine. There's a reasonable set of models, including a setting which attempts to model an acoustic guitar, built in. [The acoustic model is limited by the fact that real acoustics usually don't have as much sustain as any electric, so.] With a free app, you can tweek your own models to your heart's content. The real strength here is that with this thing, earbuds, and probably an extra cable to give you slack between the two, you have a pocket-sized practice rig. I use it for travel; it fits nicely in the pocket of my (very well constructed) travel case.
