Wide base
Great wide base. I will be using them for my 15 inch tops. Bag is a good touch.

Only lasted 10 months
We setup speakers once a week for our church service. Both stands are broken after ten months. You have to tighten the tension knob really tight to keep them from expanding when not in use. Both knobs are now stripped and won't keep the stands from expanding

Bad packaging, decent product for the money
One of the poles put a hole in the box. The top of the pole was slightly bent so I was unable to mount my speaker. I needed to use them so I bent and shaped the end with a wood hammer. Now it fits fine. I never returned them risk another damaged product. They work as described but time will tell.

You get what you pay for
I used these stands at a gig and to fit my K10 speakers on them were not smooth I had to struggle to get them on the stand and the stand does not hydraulic up on their own you have to push them up! And once I pulled the speaker off which was another struggle. The plastic cap on the stand broke. This is why I gave it a one star.

Decent but don't feel sturdy or safe
I was excited to receive these speakers stands, until I actually received them. They did not lift my QSC k12.2 speakers on their own. However they did make it easy ti lift them with help from the hydraulic system. Once the speakers were raised they wobbled way to much for my liking, they felt unsafe. I have an audi equipment rental company and there is no way I would hand these out to customers to operate on their own. I definitely don't want to get sued for a failed speaker stand that causes injuries. My preferred stands are the Frankenstand F2 models. Now that was a speaker stand. Would lift up to 80lbs and felt sturdy at the max height even with 2 50lb speakers on top with a dual speaker adapter but they have become very hard to find. Anyway, returning these gator stands.

PA speaker Stands
So we only used these stands a few times and one is already crumbling at the plastic handle can't even tighten it. we went the extra mile to get these stands. I am waiting on a response from the company. They worked well when they worked.

**Update** These stands were great until the clamps gave out on them and the pole was permanently extended. When the first one went I contacted Gator as they were still under warranty, they had me send photos and then gave me an RMA number but I would had have to pay shipping. That's not unusual BUT shipping a 7ft pole across the country was quoted at over $100. So I cut my losses and went back to some basic Yorkville stands from L&M. I seldom used the second pole since but it's clamp recently gave out too. Unfortunate that they don't stand up to the wear and tear. If you do a handful of gigs a year they are probably okay but if you're out every weekend I would definitely pass. **Original review** Needed some lighter stands to gig with and thought I would upgrade to the EZ lift to save my back a little. Now that I've been using these for a few months I can't imagine going back to manual speaker lifts. These are great, the piston raises easily and comes back down with little force required. You do need to make sure you've tightened them when they have no load because it can take a little effort to retract the piston on its own but other than that me (and my oldman back) are loving these stands!
