Awesome zoom in quality!
First impression when I received the PTZ was great, looks solid, feels durable, and looks nice. Being a PTZ camera it will weigh more then your average camera, this PTZ comes in almost 7 lbs, so mounting them can be tricky if not thought out ahead of time. Installation wasn’t bad once I had the game plan. I had no issue powering the camera with POE over cat 6. When the camera powered up, got the ip changed, loaded into my NVR and away with testing. The camera quality is as expected, great clear 4mp image even at night! The PTZ functions work great, with minor delays controlling it through mobile, and again even at night the quality is very clear! I was most surprised with how good the zoom function worked at night while balancing the light and keeping a nice clear image. Even at maximum zoom night or daytime, you get a nice clear 4mp image of what ever you zoom into. Its as if you are right in front of what ever it is you zoomed in on. The other function that I find helpful is “tour”. You can set up multiple camera positions and set a time to stay on each position. When you hit play, the camera will automatically “tour” those preset camera positions while recording if you want. Overall, I have found the IP4M-1063EW-AI to be a very well-built camera, offer great quality footage, offer great features, and performs great! With that being said, I recommend this camera to anyone that may have a large area that needs camera coverage, or if you need a solid zoom in feature. This camera will get the job done!

Fantastic overall PTZ Camera
The camera itself is very well built. It's metal housing is thick and overall I am impressed with the build quality. Keep in mind this camera is quite heavy so plan ahead when finding a location to mount. You can power it by either POE+, direct DC or the included wall wart power plug. The setup of this camera is identical to the other Amcrest cameras. You simply power it on with network connectivity and scan the QR code using the Amcrest View Pro app. Once that is complete an IP is assigned and you can view the camera using a web browser. I run Blue Iris and this camera integrates with BI flawlessly. I can control all the PTZ functions from the BI interface. I very much appreciate how easy all of the Amcrest cameras work with Blue Iris. It makes my life SO much easier. The picture quality is exactly what you'd expect from a 4MP camera. The zoom on this camera is impressive, especially at night. For example,at night while zoomed out an object in the distance (~100ft) is almost not visible. I zoom into the object and suddenly it's lit up like the camera is right in front of it. The automatic light control is so nice. Overall this is an impressive camera with a ton of capability. If you don't run Blue Iris the camera has an SD card slot for local storage or it can save videos to NAS or FTP. The camera can work very well on it's own.

This camera sucks.
I hooked camera to a DC extension power cord, and it only had half power going to the camera, I hooked up a regular extension cord it runs good. For the AI it doesn't work. I even took one AI from iCloud off one amcrest camera to this one and it still doesn't work. I tried contacting Amcrest support they replied for a while and just gave up, So I am stuck with it.

Good camera
Setup and operation was OK, some of the software for (iPhone) is so so. I haven't loaded on an android phone yet. Apple laptop and iPad were were better.

Great Camera for viewing at long distances.
I purchased this cam not really knowing what to expect. I bought an Amcrest 8 channel Nvr system a couple of years ago and have been looking to add a few cams to the system so I bought two more 5mp cams and then this 25x PTZ cam. I am not a really tech savvy person so some of the set up was a bit intimidating to me. I also had a problem with the NVR soon after the PTZ was delivered so. I sent an e-mail to Amcrest and they responded by the end of the day advising me on how the fix the problem with the NVR (my fault neglected maintenance) and how to set up the new PTZ. Boom by the next day I was up and running and all systems were a go. As for the PTZ It is hooked up through a POE Plus switch and works ok with the NVR. The Amcrest View pro App controls the PTZ much better than my older NVR which is a 4108E and And just does not have enough features to take advantage of all this PTZ has to offer. I also have the Amcrest Surveillance pro app on my laptop and it also runs the PTZ cam great. I get Long range pics with this cam that are great for keeping an eye on my property. As for the Zoom I can Zoom in on a deer @5oo yds plus and see it clearly and probably could see further that that but where the cam is now It has limited view because of trees and buildings. I am looking to buying at least one or two more PTZ cams in the future and upgrade to a better more up to date NVR. and they will defiantly be Amcrest as long as this one holds up well. Overall Im very pleased with Customer Service and the original 5mp cams that came with the system 2 years ago are still performing well.

Good and Bad, would buy again for my purpose though, but be careful
The quality of day time picture is great, I would like longer distance night vision, lacking there. But the worst part is actually getting to be able to view the camera and even worse remotely. I have three security systems so I am very familiar with this type of camera and was never able to use the Amcrest software and on that, seems like they have 10 ways to view it and none worked for me. Since it is ONVIF protocol I was able to add it to my present system and view it which is great, would have hated having two systems. Some might think a $500 camera is pro level but it is not, more like prosumer. My other PTZ that has a 600ft night vision range is $1800. Good news is, this in day is as clear but just no comparison at night. For a home this would be fine, for me I am looking at wild game up to 300 yards away.
