This jump started my journey into pyrography and I’ll be eternally grateful! I bought this to burn the ends of my thread for my leatherwork but it turns out that this kit can do wayyy more than that. I like the replaceable tip assortment, lots to try so you know what works for you and what doesn’t. The temp potentiometer works well and will allow for lower temps so you can lightly sketch your marks before burning them black forever. The range of values are preformed well going from very light almost invisible to a deep deep burn. Remember to practice all safety measures and have fun!!

I have been interested in woodburning for awhile, and had a basic solid style one with no temperature control. I decided it was time for an upgrade, and was really surprised to find one of these wire-nib styles so inexpensive! That type is usually very pricey, so I was a bit worried about the quality, yet had to take the chance. I am glad that I did! This seems well made, comes with a very comfortable to use small screwdriver to change the nibs, and even comes with a storage bag! The bag wasn't made for this set (it's a travel bag), so unfortunately it can't hold the bulky things in the pockets (like the screwdriver) and still zip close, but everything does fit inside the main area, and it's great to have something that's easy to carry. I am very pleased, and the seller (Afantti US) responds very quickly to questions and seems happy to help make sure everything is perfect. For anyone looking for a book on woodburning, after a lot of searching this one was my favorite: "Woodburning with Style: Pyrography Lessons and Projects with a Modern Flair" by Simon Easton. For the price this wood burn machine is great. Suits my needs for jewelry and small items perfectly. Very easy to use the only downside is the tip easily cools down but I just wait a couple seconds and it's good to go. Great product!

Some of the drawbacks with this is the temp will fluctuate after some prolonged use. I just turn off and walk away and do some other household tasks that need done. Lol maybe pens way of saying go do something else that NEEDS to be done. Other words I deal with it just fine. Second I would like replacement nibs to be easier to find. Replacement screws if need be and so forth. But overall I love this burner tool and it works great and I have made many pieces with it. It's still going strong and I couldn't ask for more from a inexpensive machine. If you love something and take care of it, it does the same for you.

I used it to burn some designs into my felt hats and it's very simple and easy to use!

Good burner and heat.

Very simple to use, flip it on then turn the gage to the temp range you want. Only down side is it doesn't say a numeric temperature. Once you've used it a few times you know what temp range you'll use most and where to set it to. Heats up super quick and the kit has everything you need machine wise to get started. Overall I'd buy it again if I wanted a second machine.

Worked great while it was working. Used it once when I got it and it’s been put up a couple of months. Got it out to use it and it worked for a couple minutes and now it’s not working at all.

It's working fine.. n it's easy to use.. but it's needs step down converter..

The voltage control is not working

This is not fair. Please don't sell it like this. Otherwise specify the input voltage properly so people could understand before they order it. In India our voltage supply is 220v. This device can't be used normally. To use it we will have to use an extra stepdown transformer. But most buyers use it as normal devices without knowing it which makes it damaged. Most of the buyers are like my sister unaware of all these things.
